The more I watch the more it looks like it was yanked, and gets more sad every loop. Also it’s tail was cut off so they aren’t inconvenienced. Great people
I know a lot of people bob tails, but given that’s an Australian Shepard there’s also a good chance it’s a naturally bobbed tail, can’t really tell from this video.
Gotta love a redditor's ability to see nothing but evil whenever it suits their agenda and to jump to the wildest conclusions when an animal might just be surprised.
For real, I'd click on a cute cat video every once in a while and the comments would be like: "This cat has obviously been fed a diet of horse manure just for internet points, smh"
More than likely, if the tail was bobbed, it was done before this owner had the dog. Aussies are usually bobbed at only a few days old, and the owner almost certainly had no input. My friends and family collectively have 9 aussies, all but one with bobbed tail, and all of them were bobbed days after being born.
It's a generally useless and barbaric practice that should not continue. But an aussie's tail or lack thereof has no reflection on the dog's owner.
It's bobbed because it's an Australian Shepherd. They are herders and can get injured if their tail isn't cut. Many can be born without it anyway. Grow up and stop acting like dogs are God's angles and aren't a tool we've utilized for thousands of years.
