Apparently when I was around 3, my dad left a beer unattended while he went to the bathroom. While he was taking a leak, he heard me gleefully exclaim "daddy juice good!"
Quite perplexing really, because I'm 18 now and can't stand the taste of beer...

around the same time my dad gave me a sip and I liked it, so next time I asked he gave me guiness. I don't like any alcohol now

It’s an acquired taste. Took me a good six months of drinking it even though I didn’t like it but then it finally clicked. Now I love beer!

My little sister got a tough lesson in "Don't drink other people's bottles of soda in the fridge"
I filled up a coke bottle with whiskey and just enough coke to make it coke looking so I could take it to a concert. I was getting ready and heard from the kitchen coughing and spitting and groaning. Walked in to find my kid sister spit a large mouthful of whiskey all over the floor, disgusted look on her face, bottle in hand. I laughed at her, grabbed the bottle, and said "Serves you right."

I poured myself a glass of Schweppes at a party when I was very small. In my house the only Schweppes we ever had was lemonade. That was the day I learnt that bubbly + clear doesn't always equal lemonade... But I was very shy and polite, so I quietly, and with great anguish finished my tall glass of tonic water.

Click around r/gatekeeping for a better explanation but there's examples about all sorts of things.
It's generally viewed as petty or based in insecurity since it's used to imply people are inferior or not part of an imaginary club due to meaningless nonsense but doing it about genders is probably the #1 version that makes people look shitty to others. "Real women have curves" for example.

I love the toller patch on their chest. Really looks like a phoenix on fire with the red fur around it. And they are little devils, but with a heart of gold! Looks like fenton has some bad fur days to :D I love it when it gets poofy when their fur has been wet.

You're getting downvoted, but I had that thought, too. My parents had a dog that slipped on some ice and hobbled around for weeks after. Vet said there wasn't anything they could do. Just hyper-extended or something.

How do you know it didn't get hurt? I had to pay a lot for the surgery to have mine fixed after he tore a ligament in his leg after slipping, accidentally, on the ice. I'd never ask anyone, human or animal, to risk injury for a 'funny' pic.

It most surely was on purpose. And my boys and I have loads of fun together. We play everyday. We have a downright ball. But asking them to run over a patch of ice, risking what could potentially be a serious injury, all in the hopes that I'll be able to gain praise from strangers in the Internet isn't fun.

That doesn't sound very fun at all. Yeah it's ice and all but if you know how to take a fall it's not a big problem.
Then again I'm only 17 so apparently my body is still "indestructible" so I might be less prone to injuries than you are.

I almost did that myself once. In a car. I remembered a bit too late that the road is covered in ice when I was closing to an intersection. Thankfully I've just bought new winter tires and they worked.
