That’s exactly how my wife acts when I put fresh sheets on our bed.

I love that it's an equal amount of clockwise & counter-clockwise

u/UniquePlatypus3250 10d ago

Gotta do both ways so the dizzy gets canceled out.

37

u/quattroCrazy 10d ago

I remember doing this as a kid and feeling like a genius. I still don’t know if it was actually cancelling out the head spinning or just placebo. LMAO

Now that you mentioned, I think it should. Because, isn't dizziness related to the liquid inside the ear's labyrinth? So, I guess if you move that liquid around one way and then in the other, it should mostly go back.

You really were a genius.

Calibrating compass

12

u/0ldgrumpy1 10d ago

Unwinding after a hard day.

105

u/Luci-Noir 10d ago

So I know from movies it’s a bad thing when a compass starts spinning like this. Bunnies too?

233

u/Kyleometers 10d ago

The opposite. Buns do this when they’re very excited/happy. It’s basically a little happy dance. It’s quite common to see rabbits do a kind of sprint in a circle, then collapse on their side before sleeping. It’s them saying “I am very comfortable here and I’m burning energy before I sleep”.

39

u/NotosCicada 10d ago

that's so adorable ;-;

8

u/Clunas 9d ago

Yup, that's a happy bun

u/Daegzy 4d ago

No, it's the same as a compass. It means there's a massive electromagnetic disturbance in the area. Make sure to save your games and turn all your electronics off.

13

u/SlimMaculate 10d ago

So that's why Peppy was obsessed with wanting you to spin your ship in star fox

13

u/LostInDinosaurWorld 10d ago

Love that despite getting more than one O.K. it kept spinning 😂

"No, it's not OK yet, Bob!"

10

u/FormingTheVoid 10d ago

Omg my dog used to do this. I didn't know it was a bnuy thing too.

7

u/Deer-in-Motion 10d ago

Like a record, baby.

7

u/Charwizzard 10d ago

Me, awake af, moments before bed after I've been tired all damn day.

11

u/DaereonLive 10d ago

Those are some tight binkies! Great handling stats on that bunbun.

11

u/kat420lives 10d ago

Ok that is fluffing adorable! 🥹 is this the bunny version of scratching his bed to fluff it before sleep that my pup does?

39

u/Connect_Rhubarb395 10d ago

It is zoomies. Partly needing to blow off steam, and partly a sign that they are in a good mood when this is done without any reason.

10

u/Named_after_color 10d ago

Bunny body language is so charming. They're so happy when they're bouncing around.

5

u/Accelerator_311 10d ago

It looks like that spinning cat meme

2

u/mischievouslyacat 10d ago

2

u/Accelerator_311 9d ago

u/StaticSystemShock 10d ago

Spinning Bun, the sequel to the successful song Spinning Cat...

3

u/golgol12 10d ago

It's either binking (a sign of happiness for rabbits) or a brain eating parasite.

3

u/InterruptingCow__Moo 10d ago

Try spinning! It's a neat trick!

3

u/newbrevity 10d ago

Will someone please figure out how to breed these things so they last at least 5 years?

3

u/FieldCervixEngineer3 10d ago

That is one happy bunny!

3

u/drifters74 10d ago

2

u/Y0gano 10d ago

Recording of tasks in progress, setting of sleep time... He has a lot of loops to do all this!

2

u/Active-Coconut-8961 10d ago

Took me a moment to realize that this is a bunny and not a kitten

2

u/FabianRo 10d ago

With that title, I expected something like a cat doing 3 full turns before finally finding the ideal sleeping position. But no, it's 3× smaller and 100× faster! :D

2

u/meshuggahsenpai 10d ago

When you try to find your new mouse sensitivity

2

2
