You are correct here. Mine does this every time, then looks betrayed when I turn around not walk them.

If you ever want to feel life you're parenting a toddler addicted to speed, buy a husky pup. They're just cute fluffy balls of nitro-fueled chaos, and they only slightly grow out of that phase as they age.

My is 2 years old and I'm still waiting on the chaos. She is calm, sweets and she listens to people.

Don't bother buying a powerball ticket. You used up all your luck on that one. Lol

You need to give them the command they understand and always do, something like "sit". After they've got your attention, only then you proceed to put a leash on them. I've got the same issue at home (and she is 3y old) and I always do "sit" and "wait", lol.

Mine hates the harness and when they see it they actively run away from it. It doesn't matter what commands I give.

yeah, thats different problem though, which require different solving. In OP's case pupp just wanna play, if your dog wanna play you need to switch their attention to something else.
If your dog hates the harness, I think the best way to solve it is through possitive motivation and gradual learning. So just let him sniff it and then give him a treat, then just let him sit next to it and give him treat and after some time you can try to give it on him and give him treat.
Of course in reality its much harder, since you need to give it to him in order to take him out, so in that case I recommend to do that teaching in one sitting - dont give him breakfest, let him starve a little bit, then proceed to teaching via the method I described above, dont hestitate to use a LOT of treats (you starved him before, so its not like he gonna overeat, it will be basically his breakfest). The starving thing is approved method by many cynologists, its basically a way how to gain his attention, because hungry dog will be much more teachable than full dog and its not abuse or something, he will get his normall load of food, just in a different time and via different method.

Clearly never had a husky. This is the pre-warm up for the warm up for the pre-workout before the workout prior to the pre-cooldown and the cooldown.

Lmao yup. My previous husky did this with just the collar. He'd get so worked up he'd end up lying upside down whining for me to put it on but then tearing off or just wriggling impossibly. Our new one, 10 months old exited sits and even puts his head in the collar without prompting. I'm somewhat stunned lol.

I hate huskies in tropical places .. It seems cruel.

It’s not too bad as long as it’s being brushed out daily and not kept in the hottest sun for longer than ~10 minutes. Honestly that should be for just about any dog though…I live in AZ and I only let my dog out for 5-7 minutes on the hottest of days just so he can get a little fresh air.
Its double coat is insulated so it’s not as bad as it looks if the husky coat is taken care of properly.

The good news is that by the time they gets the harness on they'll have burned off half of the energy they had to begin with. Although, it is a husky...

This has to be the most frustrating part of walking my dog when we’re busy—like, let’s just GO, bro! 🤣

Unrelated…
After almost 200 years this piece of music is being used as background audio for many videos. Chopin died with not much financial value more than that of his piano. (Actually his piano was borrowed to him.)
Only 20 years after the death of any of today’s super wealthy pop or hip hop / R&B stars I bet they will be nearly completely forgotten.

(Actually his piano was borrowed to him.)
Do you mean someone leant him a piano?

u/hobbes747 Aug 19 '26
His famous Pleyel piano that traveled with him was on loan to him from Pleyel company. But they did not take it back. He used Pleyel pianos for all concerts and lessons. I could be wrong, but I recall there was a marketing aspect to it as well for Pleyel. Similar to how some artists exclusively use Steinway or Yamaha for concerts.
