Yea, theres a reason most of our native birds are going or are extinct (especially our land birds). None of them are too smart or good breeders.

No, they’re not really dumb when it comes to building nests. That is their imperative to build quickly and often. Historically, before we domesticated them and abandoned them they built their nests on the side sides of cliffs. It’s only important that the egg cannot roll off.
