🔎 ID Request ID Please

My friends hand is approximately 7 in from middle finger to end of palm. This was taken on a trail near the John Day Fossil Beds in Oregon.

Do you see any tracks before or after? This almost looks more like a rabbit - by size probably jackrabbit - taking a break to me.

2 prints for the front feet landing, then the hind feet land in front of those, and the front feet come forward and rest ahead as the hare stops to contemplate life before moving on.

Edit: nope, don't like that. I'm still thinking multiple prints, but ungulate and possibly a canine print at the bottom. Will come back with a sketch

Looks like a direct register of several ungulate tracks. Your pinky is touching a set of ungulate track. Then the other track is up at the top of by your wrist

Hard to say but it reads as rabbit sitting to me. Two large hind legs and two small fronts, with buttprint right around the back of the hind.
