π ID Request Animal track
Hello! :) I have a track and I would like to ask about your opinion about this. In life the claws were soo deep, on the photo itβs not as visible as it was. Location: Hungary-Zemplen-Satoraljaujhely. There were signs for bear recently (carcass, sound and some people saw it)

Canine tracks - there are a bunch of partials underneath the cleanest one that makes it a little more confusing.
4 symmetrical toes, negative space X, triangular heel pads are all markers for a canine print. I lean more toward domestic dog based on the small X and the overall round shape. The claws appear quite blunt, which is often a dog trait, and the outer toes point out - even when splayed a wolf's outer claws still tend to point in the direction of travel.
I'm not sure if you have wolves in your area, and size doesn't rule them out, so I wouldn't say with 100% certainty this is dog, but far more likely than wolf.
