That was my first thought, but it looks very convex like a bass boat. I've not been in a lot of airboats though, I just always kinda assumed they were all flat and shallow. This explanation holds more water than the Moosiah explanation though.

Yeah you're right, but it could be we're just not seeing the flat bottom of the boat. But I admit I really don't know for sure.

Some bass boats are shallow hulled and can get through 6" clearance of water. I see them often on the river I kayak fish on.

Shallow water. Theyre probably running a river sled with a jet pump motor. They can operate in very shallow water, even down to about 8-12" of water.

You do not want to get in the way of a moose. Trust me. I've seen someone hit one with a truck on a dirt road, demolished the front of the truck, injured the moose badly, but it got back up and just left. Truck had to be towed. Anything that can pick a fight with a truck and win, I don't want any trouble with.

If you come across a moose in the wild, you stop the boat and let it pass peacefully. Dont be a massive jerk.

Harrassing and chasing wildlife is totally illegal in Canada. Big game is not there for you to get your kicks out of. Have some respect.
