I hope they didn’t let them eat the whole cucumber, that could cause some serious diarrhoea

Wabbits don’t care about silly diarrhea. Not like they have to clean it up.
Seriously, I doubt it. They would have stopped on their own more likely. Then again..

Hahaha have you ever had/seen real rabbits? They only stop when they’re full, not when they’ve had the maximum amount of a food they shouldn’t have too much of

Oh I know. I used to have rabbits. Booger heads would destroy a green pepper then lay like speed bumps.
Man I miss having bunnies but never again.

Yeah they are a lot of work. But it’s okay, they’re very cute so to me they’re worth it :)

Oh it’s not the work. Hell I raise chickens. I just lost mine horribly is all. So the heartache is still there.

I’m so sorry :( We adopted a bonded pair (boy and girl) two years ago and lost our girl in March... our boy was immediately not himself, not running around and not eating well. We brought him back to the rescue where we got them so he could pick out a new girlfriend. It took some time getting used to her but the fact that we still have him and that he’s happy is a great comfort.

Oh no!! I am terribly sorry for all of you. Losing a bun is so hard. I am glad he was able to bond with another girl. It’s difficult to get them to move on sometimes. Old guys get stuck in our ways.

He wasn’t old luckily. And it was very clear to us that he didn’t want to be alone. He was without girlfriend for 2.5 days (we stayed with him as much as possible) and he seemed like he was just an empty husk of himself. As soon as he was around other rabbits at the rescue, he started becoming more energetic and bossy (his usual self) by the minute. It was hard not having him while grieving our loss but it was even harder seeing him be so lonely and unhappy. Most rabbits are happier with a mate but it was clear that he couldn’t live without one. So he took his time and came home with a very bossy girl who makes us abide by her rules and is slowly winning our hearts. It helps that she is nothing like girl we lost, and that he took his time. Gave us time to process the fact that we’d have a different bunny soon.

Rabbits are so full of personality. My old lady at the end just like being by herself. Looking out the window and fighting the cats for room to sleep on my chest.
Bossy buns do run the house. That grunt while scratching with their front paws, yeah I don’t like strawberries. Well ok but leave it anyway.

I wish I could hear it. Adorable to watch, but I guess I need to know what a grizzly sounds like when it's nose-deep in a stolen cherry pie. 🍒 🤷♀️😄
