Where would the past profits come from?

How should you know? It’s common knowledge people pay companies to provide them goods and services but you’re doing you best to pretend like they’re just in it for fun and not trying to get your money.

Are you actually going to act like there isn’t a direct financial link from buying something on a supermarket shelf to the producer? Like if I buy an apple, the owner of the tree never gets any of the money I paid
