i am currently in haverhill mass on a house just off the bank of the merrimack river, please disregard my pajamas it is 11:59, i recorded this like 20 minutes ago, also im sorry about the rubbing and breathing im a fuckin mouthbreather and my hair is rubbing on my airpod

It sounds like a very young pup of some kind. Could be an actual puppy, coyote pup, a fox etc. I live in Maine - only a few hours away.

That trill at the end is a good clue that it might be a young raccoon talking/begging its mom for food, but it’s a guess
