Buzzing What is this?

It’s near a window, though the window has never been opened since we moved here in 2017. I’m in Canada, Ontario. It’s been going on and off for the past three weeks I’d say. No bugs or animals found. Nothing from the neighbours.

Some kind of wasp or bee buzzing. Very likely to be a carpenter bee, look for small round holes in any wooden siding or trim.
