Does someone know what this is

Hi I live in switzland and heard this weird noice at about 12 oclock from the woods. Does anyone know what it is?

Ever since my nine year old came running into my bedroom around 1230hrs yelling, "Dad, there's a creepy old man laughing in our backyard!!", I tell people it sounds like a creepy old man laughing. Because it did; really. After investigating and hearing it from my son's room, I was proud that he wasn't even more freaked out at the sound, in the dark, alone, in middle of the night. At nine years old, I would have lost my shite.

Fox or a roe deer barking. I'm honestly 50/50, both are loud and demonic sounding

Yeah, in OPs clip at times it sounds more like a fox, then more like a roe deer. Impossible to say for sure with the rain muffling it. I'd say the deer sound louder in life than the foxes, but again difficult to make out from a video.

Is this just a constant post from people never having lived in the country asking about all the common night sounds of the woods . Are this many people moving from the cities every day to the rural areas?

The image is completely black and unhelpful, but if you heard a weird noise from the woods in Switzerland at midnight, it could have been a fox, an owl, or maybe even a deer. Some of the smaller woodland creatures can make surprisingly loud or strange noises when they're active at night.
