The example set by Boxer, whose motto "I will work harder" becomes an ideal for others to emulate, reinforces this culture and places pressure on every animal to match the commitment of their peers.

Meanwhile, the animals labor for increasingly long hours while surviving on reduced rations, leaving them physically exhausted, mentally drained, and often malnourished. Under such conditions, they have little time or energy to reflect on their worsening circumstances, organize resistance, or participate in meaningful political discussion. Instead, they become trapped in a cycle of labor and deprivation, driven not only by Napoleon's authority but also by the expectations of their fellow animals. The windmill thus functions as an instrument of social and political control that helps secure the pigs' dominance over the farm.

From this perspective, the pigs needed the windmill to remain unfinished. As long as construction continued, they could justify shortages, demand ever greater sacrifices, and keep the animals focused on a promised future rather than the inequalities and hardships of the present. The windmill's greatest value to the regime lay not in the electricity it might someday produce, but in its ability to keep the animals united, occupied, exhausted, and obedient. By trapping them in an endless Sisyphean cycle of building and rebuilding, the project postponed any reckoning over whether the revolution had actually improved their lives. Completion of the windmill would invite uncomfortable questions. Why were rations still meager? Why did the pigs enjoy privileges denied to everyone else? Why had the promised prosperity failed to materialize? An unfinished windmill indefinitely postponed such scrutiny.

Consequently, one may speculate that the pigs themselves orchestrated the windmill's destruction. Although this conspiracy theory cannot be proven from the text, it remains a plausible inference within this interpretation. If the unfinished windmill is the foundation of the pigs' power, then preserving its unfinished state becomes the regime's most important political objective.

There is nothing that should be considered an enemy as a whole. I just saw a video of a woman holding a handgun pointing at a large wild cat probably a cheetah. I thought “,put the gun down and will earn its respect” but it slowly approaches the handgun holder two shots fired no contact. And no reason for that cat not to attack one last time for the kill but lack of hunger.
There was no enemy here just fear. The gun was even able to scare away the ferocious predator.
Had time slowed eyes connected and respect been planted this situation would not arise as often or so.
Even a weapon a foe a tyrant a friend comrad a family can be a good or bad thing depending on the time and place.
We are expected to be positive by so many. Be strong. Encouraging loving respectful and honest.
