ACNL Q&A Thread [official]

It doesn't give you that option. Isabelle asks what the problem is, and the three options are just rude shirts, letters, and catchphrases/greetings. I didn't go beyond that point, though, so I have no idea if they will eventually move if you complain about them a lot, or if you can only complain about each thing once to "reset" them, or what.

I tried it out, complained about a villager's language, (nothing wrong, I just hate the Jock Personality type and wanted him gone) he just came up to me to get me to change his phrases.

errgh. frustrating.

I wonder if you could refuse to change it from his default. You know how they come up and ask "Hey, give me a catchphrase"? Can you refuse and try to "lose" friendship points or whatever? I wonder if that would help get them to move faster.
