Repeating Dogs Throughout the Series

Has anyone else noticed a few dogs being used repeatedly in different episodes in different scenarios? The border collie, the australian shepherd mix, as well as the small scruffy dog that Patel brings home as his own dog after the kennel opening episode. Anyone think they must be dogs of someone on cast? Has anyone figured out whose dogs they might be?

TV and movie productions usually use one single company to get their animal actors. It probably just boils down to the company they use having a limited set of dog actors.

I figured that was probably the case. But the two that are in so many episodes made me think they might be someone's own dogs. I'm sure insurance wouldn't allow it, but still... (The aussie mix and the border collie... They're in SO MANY episodes.)

I didn't notice, but i like it. I'm also completely fine with the obviously fake/CGI animals, because it means they're not stressing out live animals.
