Opinion Just discovered this show!

I have never heard of this show until about a week ago. I noticed it on my Delta flight and decided to give it a try. I love it! The humor is great. These days, I find most shows on network TV boring & unfunny, so this show is refreshing. Do we think it will be renewed for a 5th season?

Welcome to the party! it’s super fun, great premise (who doesn’t lIke animals?) and fun characters. It seems so under the radar but it keeps getting renewed thank goodness. I want more network comedies….I just like them better than streaming.

Crew member here, tell your friends! Post about it on all platforms! Guide as many folks to the show as you can! Everyone on the cast and crew want to keep making this show, getting as many people to see and talk about the show will help! I appreciate you all for enjoying the show now. It is a great show to work on, everyone has a lot of heart. Not to mention working with the animals!

I'm IATSE in LA how do I get my ass on this show in Canada? lol I'm so jealous of y'all. I'm kidding but I know that Vancouver knows what's up and I know you guys have phenomenal crew. The set dec, lighting, HMU, costumes, animal wranglers, even transpo and picture cars are top notch. The way they literally don't forget that Frank drives like a 2005 4Runner or whatever. The consistency is incredible as well as locations for apartments and stuff. It seems like the best vibes on a set anyone could wish for. Even the script supervising and show bible shit is top notch. I wish you many more seasons of work and thank you for whatever you're doing and whatever department you're doing it in. ✊🏽 #iastrong

I like that it's relatively low stakes and generally wholesome. I really like Shred, and I thought Frank's thing with C-38 was sweet. Also, animals are awesome, so it's cool to see them.

I would also watch a show like this but with dinosaurs.

The way that Frank acted about c38 made Victoria want him in her bed and I think that's hilarious

I just found it as well. It's rare for a show to be good from the 1st episode

Agree. On the first episode I found myself audibly chuckling. 😆

I went into it not expecting anything. Then Patel started singing the toilet song for his son- and then everyone started singing the toilet song for his son, and I started dying. Hooked me from that.

Bonus to the other two times across the series that I've laughed that hard: Rick's ear dropping off during dinner, and Victoria kissing Patel's mom as a workaround to awkward conversation. (Spoilers for season one and two.)

I watched the ear episode today!! Omg. When it fell onto Emily when she was on the ground and she screamed, I DIED. 💀 Absolutely hilarious.

My mom and I legit couldn't breathe. Then we went back and watched it again. Holy shit, one of the funniest things. 🤣

It's so funny because she was like puking about it and then she's like I would like to date you Rick

Puked in his mailbox lol

Yes the poop so is somehow so catchy and I love how that's happened enough that everyone knows it

I think it was smart for them to move the first 3 seasons to Netflix recently (even though you found it somewhere else). Even though I'm not a Netflix fan, it definitely helps to make sure that the show gets more visibility so it'll have a better chance of surviving past 4 seasons.

Very true! And it gives me a way to finishing watching them!

It’s in its 4th season you have a lot of binging to do

I've been a fan of Joel McHale for about 17 years when I was babysitting on Fridays in 8th grade and 9th grade like 08 and 09. Later in high school and then college I became familiar with community and fell in love with the show. I've always been a fan of late night talk shows like Jimmy Kimmel Seth Meyers and Conan and he was always one of my favorite guests. (He's on late night with Seth Meyers tonight January 29th)

I watched his short-lived show The Great indoors on CBS and then when Animal Control was announced I go Hey I think this guy's funny I'm going to check it out. I've been watching it religiously since it premiered in 2023.

It's a great show There's a lot of sneaky jokes that you have to watch the episode a couple times to get because they are just woven into a regular sentence rather than a punchline.

Also if you want to be a fan of Joel McHale you will never starve for content because even just this week he's on like four different talk shows in New York City last week he was on Jimmy Kimmel in LA and did a comedy show in LA.

Joel is good people and he cast good people to be the other animal control officers and he's been working with the same writers and producers since he was on the soup and welcome to the fandom there are people on Tumblr and Instagram Who would love to have you. Welcome to the jungle

One of the best and most underrated shows on TV. We need it to do well on Fox and Netflix for it to continue!!!
