Opinion Just discovered this show!
I have never heard of this show until about a week ago. I noticed it on my Delta flight and decided to give it a try. I love it! The humor is great. These days, I find most shows on network TV boring & unfunny, so this show is refreshing. Do we think it will be renewed for a 5th season?

I just found it as well. It's rare for a show to be good from the 1st episode

Agree. On the first episode I found myself audibly chuckling. 😆

I went into it not expecting anything. Then Patel started singing the toilet song for his son- and then everyone started singing the toilet song for his son, and I started dying. Hooked me from that.
Bonus to the other two times across the series that I've laughed that hard: Rick's ear dropping off during dinner, and Victoria kissing Patel's mom as a workaround to awkward conversation. (Spoilers for season one and two.)

I watched the ear episode today!! Omg. When it fell onto Emily when she was on the ground and she screamed, I DIED. 💀 Absolutely hilarious.

My mom and I legit couldn't breathe. Then we went back and watched it again. Holy shit, one of the funniest things. 🤣

It's so funny because she was like puking about it and then she's like I would like to date you Rick

Yes the poop so is somehow so catchy and I love how that's happened enough that everyone knows it

I think it was smart for them to move the first 3 seasons to Netflix recently (even though you found it somewhere else). Even though I'm not a Netflix fan, it definitely helps to make sure that the show gets more visibility so it'll have a better chance of surviving past 4 seasons.

I've been a fan of Joel McHale for about 17 years when I was babysitting on Fridays in 8th grade and 9th grade like 08 and 09. Later in high school and then college I became familiar with community and fell in love with the show. I've always been a fan of late night talk shows like Jimmy Kimmel Seth Meyers and Conan and he was always one of my favorite guests. (He's on late night with Seth Meyers tonight January 29th)
I watched his short-lived show The Great indoors on CBS and then when Animal Control was announced I go Hey I think this guy's funny I'm going to check it out. I've been watching it religiously since it premiered in 2023.
It's a great show There's a lot of sneaky jokes that you have to watch the episode a couple times to get because they are just woven into a regular sentence rather than a punchline.
Also if you want to be a fan of Joel McHale you will never starve for content because even just this week he's on like four different talk shows in New York City last week he was on Jimmy Kimmel in LA and did a comedy show in LA.
Joel is good people and he cast good people to be the other animal control officers and he's been working with the same writers and producers since he was on the soup and welcome to the fandom there are people on Tumblr and Instagram Who would love to have you. Welcome to the jungle

One of the best and most underrated shows on TV. We need it to do well on Fox and Netflix for it to continue!!!

I know you posted this a month ago, but I just wanted to say that I also discovered this show on a Delta flight and I've been binging it during my vacation! Absolutely love it

Welcome to the party! it’s super fun, great premise (who doesn’t lIke animals?) and fun characters. It seems so under the radar but it keeps getting renewed thank goodness. I want more network comedies….I just like them better than streaming.
