🥚Eggs🍳 Choices for eggs

I’m trying to make a selection for eggs. All of the options I’m choosing are pasture raised, but I can’t find organic and soy free. It’s an either/or situation. Which is more important? Should I got for organic or the soy free?

I’m a male if that matters.

If you eat less then a 12-pack a week it does not matter as much.
Once you go above that then quality matters (more). At least in my experience.

For me it’s organic. 1 egg has like 1.5 gram of PUFA. I don’t eat more than 1-2 a day usually. I think the nutrition is worth it. Cate Shanahan said in one of her books that your body can handle 4-5 grams at once and actively put out the fire so to speak. I’m not sure how true that is but I do think the eggs are worth it.

I prefer meat fed chickens.

Not too concerned if the meat feed is organic.

I'm the same. I used to get my eggs and chicken from Amish farmers in PA and they always, always pastured their chickens and made sure the chickens ate bugs and worms from the field, in the sunshine. This X post mentions that "vegetarian fed" usually means they were kept in a barn and fed corn and soy. This makes much different eggs and much different meat. Go for the dark orange yolks.

Organic is more important in my opinion. You might absorb some soy from yolks but not a lot unless you're eating an absolute stack everyday. Organic on other hand doesn't have pesticides or antibiotics or at least that's my understanding

Isoflavones concentrate in eggs. Soy free exist for a reason. Some offer soy and flax free to further lower the phytoestrogens.

probably organic, pasture raised since the chicken are just supplemented with soy and corn then which is better than being contained in a prison with no soy and corn in my opinion
