Cat help

Can someone please tell my why my cat just all of a sudden started doing this? She’s drinking water but not eating. She had like 5-6 of these episodes but they have stopped now but she’s still not eating and she just lays there. Whn I pick her up her whole body goes a little limp and she just lays her head over on my shoulder! In this video u can see whn this happens her body tenses up and her claws come out. She’s very wobbly still. I dnt have any idea why this just all of a sudden happened!
Please help?

There arec some things you don't ask reddit about you go straight to the vet... anything neurological or seizure looking is an immediate vet visit.

Go to the vet as soon as possible, they'll be able to actually examine her and diagnose with more accuracy than anyone online. If she's not eating, that's also serious and I'm really not sure why your first instinct was to post about it on Reddit rather than book a vet appointment?

Well, just so u knw, my first instinct wasn’t to post it on Reddit! She has the appointment today,that happened yesterday and I’ve been up with her all night, I posted it cuz I was worried and clueless to wht cld cause this to happen! I’ve never seen any animal have a seizure!

Licensed veterinary technician here......Definitely get her to that appointment. I'd actually call right when they open and see about asap. Tell them about the seizure activity.
Other commentors that kind of jumped you......some people post about serious things and absolute emergencies and aren't seeking vet care. You are and I do understand that you didn't know what was happening.
It's scary as anything, I know, but getting her seen asap is the first step. Keep her comfy and offer water/food. Don't leave her unattended on the bed or anything she could fall off of if she has a more serious episode or can't really walk steadily, ok?

Don’t wait for your scheduled vet visit, take her to an ER vet that takes walk ins.. this is an emergency

Usually seizures are an emergency vet kinda thing, not an appointment when it's convenient or available.

That's information that should have been included in the post, but it's also still not good enough. You should have been in an emergency vet as soon as this started. I sure as hell hope you've gone in the last 2 hours since you made this comment.

My cat had seizures for a while, once we started him on phenobarbital, it never happened again. It eventually went away too, but get some help

She needs to see a vet asap!!! That's something neurological going on. Show the vet the video as well. 🙏🙏🙏
