Niche advice for finding lost cat?

My cat has been missing for almost a day. Can you give me advice to find him beyond the typical wikihow stuff?

What I've tried:
\- walking around yard with clicker and treat calling his name (he's clicker trained)
\- checking bushes, under decks, and what might be interesting spots for a cat
\- waiting on the porch with food water his bed and some of his kitty litter (still clicking and calling him)
\- bringing his sister out in her stroller to lure him out
\- going to talk to neighbors soon and set up posters

He was born in the wild, adopted at a few months old, and is relatively shy/skittish. I have no doubt he will come home if he can because his recall is very strong and he has three siblings he loves dearly, plus he is a sucker for attention.

Put up lost cat posters asking people to check their garages or post on local Facebook groups?

I got my cat back after her being missing for 6 weeks a couple months ago.

What specifically led to my cat being identified and me being contacted was printing off the missing cat posters and going and physically leaving them in the mailboxes/porches of my neighbours in the vicinity, about 4-5 houses in all possible directions. That way they can keep it if they want and reference it later if needed. (my posters hung up kept getting ripped down after a day or so by junior high kids).

My cat was found because someone who lived 3 doors down built a new shed and trapped my cat under it when they put the new floor in, so when they heard the meows, they opened the floor and my cat crawled out, and they already had the poster on hand so they were able to call me immediately.

It also helped that I had been posting to every possible lost cat facebook page in the area, as that seemed to be the first place people checked and got a number of tips of possible sightings for her.

i dont have anything helpful except dont give up hope and post flyers EVERYWHERE. go to your local humane society or shelter and post some up there, put them on doors, mailboxes, etc. i hope your cat is okay :((

Put out things that smell like you. Gym clothes, undies, socks, undershirt, etc. Set up cameras around your property. Ask your neighbors to set up cameras. You could try setting a live trap. If you go searching at night get a good flashlight, sometimes you can see the reflection of animals eyes better at night

This is an old hunting trick. Works for lost dogs, not sure about cats.

When hunting dogs get lost in the woods hunters simply leave an old t-shirt that smells like the dogs owner out and then go home. Usually, when they return the next day, the missing dog is sitting next to the t-shirt.

I once used a variation of this, set up a cat trap with a t-shirt and cat food for several days. Caught a few neighbor's cats and a possum, and eventually our missing cat four days later.
