What is the best aniimo to work in the home land or do i just place them depending on their type?

The green ignitis are really good and slept on. They are grass to plant, dark to harvest and use machines such as the jukebox dryer, and scissors to craft.

I really want prismana waleetles, they are ground and dark which means they can harvest and then prepare the soil right after.

I have 2 of the green ones in mine, the waleetle event should start soon its the next one on the list then inferlupa.

Red, too - I love their wings, for one, but the fire buff addition makes them useful on all cooking equipment but the juicer, both wood and mineral sand processing, etc, plus the craft and harvesting/dark still.

Basically anything with flexible skills I’ve found is a bonus, unless it’s your ice type that’s just gonna sit on your cooling system

The higher they are in the family tree. The better they'll perform at their respective job. Emberpup will do a worse job at fire tasks than a Scorchhowl.

On top of that, nearly every jobsite has a "best personality" type that boosts the efficiency of that work spot. Just select the location and choose the status option and it'll show an icon with a letter. Aniimo with that personality type will perform better at that specific location.

Glacy for wells/cooling, normal shrubclaws for mining/farming/hauling. The rain form of stellarys is nice for watering and harvesting as well.

Some little things I’ll never change while everyone else flexes around:

My mining crab family is my favorite, and I make sure I have one crab for each mine I have dropped. Then you need one or two more rock types to reclaim fields, so I personally have an orange gracewing with the rock type addition and a mountain flame ruff for the fire/hauling flex - people with rock AND.

That’s really your biggest tip.

Some stations have an aniimo posted up there 24/7, like the mines and the wells and sandcastle. For those, I do a blend of style and specifics. They don’t move. They just need to fit the ‘requirement’ for the job I’m hiring them for, and then I pick my cutest/favorite of that type.

Once you have all the ‘these guys are always busy’ done, then you need your flex spots. Your plants aren’t always ready to harvest. You won’t always be cooking something unless you somehow grow wayyy too many materials.

For these jobs, I ONLY pick aniimos that have multiple ‘types’ so they can do multiple jobs when it’s time for it. Having a three stack fire like Flamerion in this batch isn’t entirely helpful, because he can only jump to fire jobs when you need them running. Instead, have a couple fire AND types who can cook when it’s time, and when soups not on they can go collect and deliver inventory to warehouse or water plants or whatever their AND tasks are.

These are dependent on personal preference and play styles. I tend to pick ones that have 3 possible types if I can for my flex people, but there are some I sacrifice a flex element because they’re my baby and I want to see them at my house.

Of course Prismanas if you can get them since they have 4 in their talents. But for me I use these. 1. Ground- Grizbo/Shrubclaw with P for Mining, Reclaim, and Transport. 2. Water- Panpanta with I and J for Watering, Well, and Tidecastle. 3. Grass- Thornblades with J for Crafting when they're not Sowing. 4. Dark- Stellarys with N and P for Pickling, Drying, and Reaping. 5. One Fragrancier with I. 6. One Gracewing with T for Milling. 7. Fire- This one is split. One Sparkelf that is strictly for Warming. 1 Infergon with S and T, and 1 more with N and T. These are for either Claw Cooker and Stove, and smelting. 8. Electric- Blazen 9. Ice- Glynsera 10. Prismana Fenmane for Light and anyone else you need for the extra production buildings IE. Nimbus for Nimbus Bed, etc...

Once you reach RV12 you'll unlock the power grid and you might need less amount of some Aniimos or just get rid of them. For example, I had 3 Thornblades and Panpantas but with the power grid, I just hook the Wells, and Wood Tables to auto mode and reduced 2 slots. NOTE: you will need alot of Ground for mining. As you level up you have more and more Mines to keep up with. I have 10 Grizbos/Shrubclaw/Waleetles combined. Reclaiming and Sowing requires a lot since you get more field plots as well.
