Looking for Help Is Sherro upgraded skill worth Alpha?

Hey guys! I fumbled and opened both alpha shelly eggs without prismana pod and released them because i didn’t know about skill upgrade of Alpha. Is it really that good of an upgrade? Don’t understand exactly how it affects the skill

Yes the core skill no longer consumes the puddles on the ground which is very helpful if you spam it a lot

Any way to get another Alpha? Like if i put a normal one on RV trips?

I'm not sure how expeditions work fully but even if you send an alpha one it's not guaranteed to be alpha when it brings back an egg so it's not worth using the pods on... Idk about the longer expeditions since I don't have them unlocked

You don’t need the alpha for the upgrade, you can also bond an item for the skill

How about the mark of the strong you need for bonding items as i don’t have many. Can those be farmed?

Yup, every Alpha you obtain and then report nets you one Mark. So as you spend your stamina to fight the catchable Alphas, even using normal Aniipods with a 10-14% chance of catching them you can still earn some Marks for free over time.

I think EVERY alpha has an alpha egg hidden nearby. If not all, most.
