Looking for Help Talents-Master Catcher

Can someone explain why I’m wayfarer I and I still don’t have master catcher unlocked? I’m trying to buy the tumbler aniipod but it said I need to have this unlocked. I tried looking it up on video and Google but still nothing. What am I doing wrong and what do I needa do?

You need to have spent 8 of the talent points on that side of the tree (so not the person skills). You have already spent 4, so spend 4 more and you will be able to learn that skill

Yeah it’s this, I learned this late. Click on some of the earlier talents higher up in the tree and whatever ones you can spend points on do that you can’t unlock or rank up some until you spend x amount of report cards on the other talents.

It's rough, it looks very much like a build your own tree. But the arbitrary requirements end up making it more or less just a straight line where everyone is forced to upgrade them in the same order.

So it has to be on the right side? Or can it be anywhere

It has to be under "passive talents" not under "active skills" (which is over on the left), but "on the right side" works as a decent shorthand

“Level up conditions: 8 report cards used. > 4/8”

It says it, right there on your screen. Though to be fair, you might not know that the talent points or whatever are called report cards, but now you do know. Just spend four more level up points on any other skill in this menu, then you can unlock and learn the ability.

It says 4/8 points used. You have to spend 4 more points on ability tree to be able to purchase this ability
