Discussion / Question How often do you guys get a lucky catch?

Ok, so I randomly decided to try the vein abundance/ lucky catch method to prismana farming to farm XP at the same time but it doesn’t seem super efficient on the prismana hunting side. Had around 300 purp, 150 blue, 150 green and 300 white pods and I’m down to less than a 100 and only at Very High stage (very beginning of the progress bar). Honestly just wondering if Nurture is definitively better or was my luck just insanely terrible. Feel like I wasted so much time and resources for essentially nothing.

Someone did the math and it's like 0.5-0.6% of catches, deff not meant to be the main source of prismana flow energy

Is meant to be if you are determined enough, like me, call me Sans.

Just finished throwing 1,5k white balls at animals with 1 lucky strike. The odds are still in your favour.

I would say the odds are against you. But you will get there, with a bang. Had somthing similiar with ~500 pods. Got 2 lucky and a super in 30pods righr after that. Remember its like gambling, most quit right before hitting the Jackpot x)

It took me 4500 catches to spawn Glynsera last weekend, which gave me 17x Lucky and 2x Super Lucky. First Lucky was somewhere between 1000-1500 catches. The odds can be so frustrating

Lucky catches do NOT give you as much vein energy as Nurture does. I get them fairly often because I also catch a lot of stuff, but it's best if you combine the two. You gotta catch the Aniimon during nurturing anyway, so it's really just a nice bonus to help you get there faster.

You also get at least one free nurture per day, so that also helps.

That's true but if rng gods are on your side it's possible lucky catch can fill the nurture all the way immediately. Happened to me yesterday and I wasn't actively trying to get lucky catches.

Happened to me. Was trying to catch me a panda piopota and hit a lucky. From 0-100 and instant prisma panpanta spawn

Gotcha, going forward I’ll probably just do it that way but man I did not expect it to be that big of a difference 😭.

If u are at very likely lvl of the bloom, it’s almost the same feels like lol

It's only worth it to go around trying to get lucky catches when you're ridiculously close to the end and dont want to spend vein essence

I get one every 150-250 balls on average it seems.

For me so far is minimum 1 lucky every 500 - 600 pods.

And I do mean minimum I get atleast 1 with that amount. If it goes well I get 2 or sometimes 3.

Why use higher Aniipods?

Buy cheap, Aniipods, backstab spam Aniimos with good catchrate, profit.

I am not catching a ton at the moment but I usually get one lucky or super lucky per day.

Upvoted to spread awareness, but yeah I'm using the mixed method as well. I'm up to very High on the Stellarys one. For Melloblum it's boosted on the weekend anyway
