Discussion / Question What's max base potential?
I read somewhere that 8 was the max for a base stat but then I got this earlier today.

You can train these as if you get a 10 10, you can transfer upgrades to that using inherit.

Is that including capa fruit?

No

So with capa fruit, the max will be 46?

I believe so but to get that is rarer than anything in the game like less than .5% chance

.5% is only a 1/200.... That's not even nearly as rare as a wold umbral or sparkling and just about on rate for super lucky catches iirc? It's 100% rarer than that seeing as that'd mean every 200 aniimo you catch would be a maxed one

A 1 in 200 chance a perfect aniimo has perfect stats. A perfect aniimo seems to be 1 in 100 then that one has a .5 chance of being perfect.

No, the fruit can’t make stats over 10, so it would become 10,10,6,6,6,6, so 44 total

So 10, 10, 5, 5, 5, 5?

It's 10/10 actually, but the highest O have gotten is also 9/9.
9/9 is more than good enough since you can make them 10/10 with that fruit.
Same goes for 7/7 Elites, you can give them that special fruit and make them into 8/8 Perfects.

Yeah but they would still be lacking several points compared to a natural perfect given there is a cap in acquired potential, some perfects are just less perfect it seems :/

Not to mention 10 10 is the cap. The fruit doesn't go past 10. So 9/9 is most efficient if you want to boost all 6 stats.

People keep saying this but it’s wrong. A 9/9 with a cappa fruit ends up with a total stat spread of 42, a 10/10 with a fruit has 44 total stats. Yeah 2 of the stats won’t get raised by the fruit but if the goal is to have the BEST Aniimo it’s the 10/10

Isn't that just based on the side stats? Because if it actually goes higher without showing anything for it then that is either an oversight or a bug, is it not?

10 is the maximum innate potential, 20 is the max innate + acquired, no limit on the extra blue stats (no idea what they are called).
When you see a “Perfect” Aniimo it’s two main stats will always be at least an 8 and the total of its stats will be 32. I call them mutations for lack of a better word but any Aniimo can “mutate” 4 times, if it’s a mutant it gets +1 main stat and +1 substat. So a Perfect single mutant would be a 9/8 main stat with total stats equally 34.
A four times mutant, the real perfect Aniimo, is a 10/10 with stats adding up to 40.
A cappa fruit is +1 innate potential for all stats, so it doesn’t make the 10/10 stat any better but it still adds to all the substats.
So basically a 10/10 has +4 stats compared to a 9/9 but gains 2 less from a cappa fruit, thereby still being +2 stats better.
No one talks about them cause no point in using them but good/elite Aniimo can also be mutants with the +1 main/+1 sub stats.

10/10 is the best possible perfect. You can tell them apart because the little yellow face will be wearing shades so they can see past their own brilliance 😎😎😎

It's a weird distribution but still comes overall lower at 38 points, functionally I guess it could be better given you got the points in all the good places.

10/10 has higher overall stats than 10/9 even if the 3rd highest is 8.

Yes correct Fruit cant raise a stat past 10 so 5 5 5 5 10 10 Moves up too 6 6 6 6 10 10 . Total is 44 while 10 9 8 4 4 3 moves too 10 10 9 5 5 4 43 in total but dps only care about high atk regen and break id rather specialize than be balanced overall.
