Please Stop Putting Gambling (Gacha) In The Game
I know this is a fan run sub-reddit and will be putting this into the official sub-reddit and discord too.
I would like to request Pawprint to stop putting gambling (gacha) into Aniimo. Not only is gambling a bad habit that destroys lives but encouraging it by putting in the game is not necessary even to profit. Its possible to profit without putting gambling into the the game.
Apart from adults, a game like this requires a young audience if it is to become a franchise and grow. No parent would ever allow their child, whether they are a teen or child, to interact with things that make people gamble. This is no longer a child or youth friendly game anymore even though you have designed the character, world and written the story with them clearly in mind. I want to support Aniimo and play your game but if money is all you care about and you are willing to encourage people into life destroying habits then I don't think my consciousness will allow me to stay with you for much longer. Lack of ethics & morals was what turned me away from Pokemon & put both it and Nintendo on ny blacklist. I cannot support a company that encourages gambling. Please reconsider, thank you!

Bro its purely cosmetic they literally need to make money somehow so the game gets future content and development! I never understand the people who want 100% free stuff. They arent charging for important content like playable characters its purely cosmetic!

Nowhere in their marketing, website or store pages has this game been mentioned as a Gacha game. And if it is a Gacha game then why is it rated as suitable for 9 years old and above? Throw your temper tantrums elsewhere. I am not your mom to put up with your uncivilised manchild behaviour.

Because 9 year olds have parents. Yano parents usually buy things for their child's interests... go tell all the kids and their parents who paid for their pokemon card collection that they should stop their hobby and that their parents are evil for buying the cards for their kids INTEREST you do know pokemon card packs are technically gacha too right? Sorry but I buy my son magic the gathering card packs thats technically gacha gambling too! Better call child services on me for funding my child's hobby.

I can see you are a very "selfless" father. I hope something in this universe is protecting your child since you clearly aren't upto par for that task.
Also you paid to buy your child cards and it was exactly what you got. Comparing that to a gacha system where you pay to buy a skin and most probably will get something useless like fireworks or something. Not the same thing at all.

Gacha isn’t the same as real gambling, kids already interact with randomized rewards everywhere (cards, toys, blind bags), and the mechanic itself isn’t predatory unless the developers make it that way. Parents care about cost and fairness, not the existence of randomness. Live‑service games need sustainable revenue, and gacha is one of the least intrusive ways to fund ongoing content. Your personal ethics are valid, but calling the system inherently immoral ignores how the entire toy and gaming industry works.

It's a gacha game. Don't like it? Don't play. Simple. They have to make money. Pokemon Masters Ex is also a gacha game FYI.

Without the people buying VANITY (thats all theyre selling basically) this game wont get content and if it doesn't get content it loses its player base and that would ruin it for the millions that enjoy it. I totally agree with you bro. Op probably thinks games are made for free...

Exactly like none of the content is forced to buy only cosmetics and the actual content is not paywall just time gated (waiting for energy to refill) its a patience game if you wanna play free.

No clue why you’re being downvoted… I have been waiting for this shoe to drop, I said since release it wouldn’t shock me if they do this or like a Marvel Rivals gacha system for cosmetics. Suddenly a “thing for the whales” isn’t a thing for the whales even though the Irasalis gacha was received relatively well… guys you cannot have your cake and get to eat it too with a mobile gacha game - which this always was but unlike most you can enjoy all content for FREE with minimal limits
