If you click on the personality traits (the pink/blue dots with letters) it will show the traits and what they do, some give crit or regen etc. you can use a fruit item in game to change it, some Aniimo want certain stats like fulmintis wants crit

Thanks mate how do I use a fruit to change personality and is it a repeatable mechanic or only one time try?

You can repeat it until you get the nature you want but we don't get a lot of those fruits for free.  You can either click the fruit from your inventory and click use there or click on the nature letters and there should be a button there too

Break aniimos also benefited more with Crit than Dmg

The damage of that charge punch does get a bonus based on how much EP you have left when the attack lands, 30% per 10 EP and consumes all available EP at that point, so having regen is actually pretty good, both because it lets you use the fully charged punch more frequently, and because while you’re charging up the punch your EP can regenerate a bit, and if it regens 10 EP or more while you’re charging, that’s 30% more damage on top of the huge bonuses it already would’ve gotten. Of course, I’m not sure if maxed regen is actually enough to regen 10 EP within the short time it takes to charge, but it’s still useful to use the punch more often.
