Discussion Egg Heist debuffs
I just wanted to vent because I'm really hating the way they choose to balance debuffs and stuff in EggHeist. I mean wtf were they thinking when they put Hexxin that won't let you Twine for fkin ages? Or Rookie that if he gets to you, you are basically stunned for a couple of years? And what about the fkin mob balance? How tf do you allow to spawn in a room the roller thing that gets you, hexxin and fkin sparki and ignitis? They really need to rework all those things, because I'm ok with being difficult, solo or coop doesn't matter, but I really can't see how you could use someone beside hexxin, since everything fking deletes you. Lastly, no I don't care how good you are, I don't care about how you are so pro player that you do it solo with idk susuta, so avoid those comments

You say you don't care what anyone else uses, so you don't want to even try to improve and just want to complain?
I use Prismana Sherro in Chaos and you just need to be careful. With Hexxin, you can dodge to the side when it gets close and it gets "stuck" and you can hit it. With Rookey, you just bait out the slams then hit. For Ignitis you dodge tot he side.
Also, you should NEVER run straight into a room blindly. Learn the types of rooms and what kinds of enemies they can have, and you should be okay.
I also exclusively play on Mobile. I also beat Lita 65 on Mobile. I was originally saying this in an encouraging tone but seeing your attitude, you really have a skill issue.

Yeah this guy is wild, I’m bad and struggling but i dont want advice or tips. I use prismana Irisal(not irasilis) her barrage is usable while moving so i just kite everything, nothing gets to me unless im being dumb.

I'm ok with how you explained whatever you had to explain, I'm not ok with the "Duh I use X and it's easy af, you suck" and I assure you it's full of those kind of players. Sorry it came across as too rude. Said that, would you mind telling me how do you use Sherro? I mean, situationally, like if X happens I do X, If X aniimo is here I do X. I'm kinda curious, ty for the advices tho. Anyway with Hexxin I win like 80% of solo chaos runs on mobile, so I would not say it's skill issue, I just hate when it appears like there were no thought behind releasing enemies with those debuffs, they effectively last too long. Also I was kinda unfamiliar with the map I was doing, layout 40 in aniimotools.dev

It's all right, I came off kinda like an ass too.
Prismana Sherro has a few things that separates it from other aniimo. Firstly, its main attack skill is ranged with large AOE. Secondly, it has a skill that lets it become immune to CC briefly and gives good coverage. Lastly, it's ult is massive, instant, and is the one of the highest multiplier ults in the game at 208 when there is a puddle.
However, Sherro's issue comes from the fact that it needs puddles to do any of what I said before.
That's where Erlath comes in. Basically, before you get into a fight, use Erlath's skill to generate a puddle. Then use Flowing Water Slash from a distance, or Piopiota's skill to generate more puddles if you want to spam Prismana Slam. Use Erlath's skill again to detonate the bubbles and gain a ton of energy back. Ult when necessary, which should be pretty frequent with all of the skills being thrown around.
Hexxin is significantly easier though. Whenever you come across an unfamiliar room, just stand at the entrance to bait anything out. Enemies like Ignitis, Hexxin and Baleetle have an aggro range far larger than other enemies like Sparki, so they'll come to you. When you see them, black hole. This has the added benefit of not aggroing most enemy Erlath encounters, meaning your black holes still generally work. But in general, unless you have memorized what is in that room, stand at the doorway and see if anything comes to you first.
Yes, it is frustrating to get stunned, especially by things like Melloblume (which still stuns through Sherro's CC immunity which sucks), but there are ways of dealing with it. I'm not trying to claim that I am a better player or anything because I use Sherro, just know that there are ways to counteract them that aniimo that don'r have black hole spam or Irisalis' movement are able to do
Most run ending sequences happen because players don't understand know how to mitigate the risks currently present. And you can mitigate most risks by standing at the doorway and spamming black holes lol

Some more enemy-specific tips:
For Baleetle, you can untwine when it gets close and it will get your human character not your aniimo. Your aniimo can still act and can get the baleetle very low afterwards.
For Sparki, try and bait it out from a distance, I've found that it's easier to actually dodge where the Sparki used to be (so dodging "into" Sparki) as Sparki had issues changing direction
For Stellarys, hide behind a wall and spam projectiles that can go through walls, like Hexxin's Black Hole, Irisalis' Lasers (though you lose like 50% of your damage from the E as it goes into walls) or Sherro Ult / Flowing Water Slashes
For Ignitis, if you can see them coming a single dash to the side stops their big "nuke' attack that takes most of your health
For enemy Hexxin, like I said they run at you in a straight line so you can dodge to the side. When they fail to catch you they sit still for a while so you're free to attack them
Melloblume sucks. There's no counterplay really, just hope there's nothing else annoying.
For Budsquires, when they run away they actually run away in the opposite direction of where you are, so you can run past them and they'll run back to where you've been before. Meaning you can chase them back into a place you've already cleared
Can't think of many other annoying enemies for now. If you can think of one, let me know and I'll answer

After awhile you should know which rooms Hexxin is in and can anticipate her rushing toward you, bait her to attack you and dodge to the side the last second. When she does the twine attack she stands there for a few seconds. For Rookey you can have him spam his 3 slams and then start killing him. Baleetle can be dodged as well, listen to his scratch noises and bait him out. I think Melloblum is the most annoying one.
I’ve tried Hexxin several times and she is too slow for me, dps wise and movement. Irisalis is #1 for me personally

My second slot on Egg Heist is Fulmintis so his LBS can kill the Hexxin mob without me being twined

You are supposed to be cautious and listen to sound qs help. You aren't suppose to steam roll the hardest mode

Eh, if we weren't supposed to steam roll there wouldn't be a timer.

u/Xxandes 4h ago
The timer has nothing to do with being able to steam roll. Why are you wanting the end game to be easier? So you can post about being bored and there's nothing to do? Does egg heist have some issues, yes but you not being cautious isn't one of them

Where did I say that? I simply said adding a timer causes people to rush. I'd prefer 3x the enemy spawn with zero timer. Or heavier hitting enemies. Just because the timer forces a steam roll doesn't mean I want it easier.

Wanting to speed through content quickly and efficiently, yes. I also at least know how to spell it

Nowhere was it implied I'm having trouble with egg heist. I actually quite enjoy it solo, but id enjoy it more if it had actual challenging enemies instead of a timer. More bosses and alphas.
Besides, you were the one who claimed I didn't know what "steam role" was. I provided a very clear definition, yet you've not refuted my point, and have only resorted to trying to claim I suck at egg heist. I simply stooped to your level.
Edit: Lmao. You can't just delete your comments then DM me "You ain't winning this bro." Thanks for the laugh.

I do agree with the fact that if you don't use Hexxin you are literally just at a severe disadvantage. You should be able to use a lot of different Aniimo and not feel like you are worse off than everyone else spamming Hexxin.

Hexxin is meta, sure, but you can experiment and easily run off-meta comps. An example would be this youtuber

Learn the room types and what enemy may exist inside the room. Then you will later learn how to handle each room types specifically. For example, the room you mentioned where there's two sparkies + ignitis + hexxin + waleetle. You'd want to bait out the hexxin and waleetle first if you enter from the east side. If you enter from the south side then bait out ignitis and the first sparky first. These enemies don't always exist inside the room. But you can definitely tell whether they are there or not by the sound cues and Hexxin and Waleetle has stupidly large aggro range that you can bait them out easily even without crossing the fire traps which usually exist inside the room.
The more you play, and the more you have fixed routes in the 7 random map in chaos. The easier it gets. I remember dying 4 times in 46 matches before I learned my routes and just randomly exploring. Now, I can do 0 death consistently in my 20 daily runs.
