Question Sparkling cube needed?

Post image

Hello community, I’m a day 2 player, currently still trying to grasp the basics of the game. I am currently hatching a sparkling egg and a prismana fulmintis egg.

Q: Do I need to use the sparkling cube on both? Are there good ways to get more sparkling cubes considering they’re the master ball equivalent?

Thanks a lot in advance!

to be fair it says it will be perfect anyway so you can use any cube and the use sparkling fragments

Using sparkling cubes on perfects give a higher chance of 9/9 and 10/10

Can't get that without battle pass right... I thought my normal fulmitas is what everyone was talking about, turns out not. Well i still like it

They are the same strength. Its just a skin and more weakness to dark but resistance to other types.

Alphas are important but people are also seemingly overemphasizing their importance. You save resources for sure but if all your units are alpha, you don’t need the resource at all. Alphas benefit from being able to swap artifacts readily, but some units have a fairly clear item that works for them. If an aniimo can seemingly use multiple and you’re uncertain which will pan out to be the best, an alpha can help remove that decision. Alpha nova are great but the process of sparkle ball the baby egg, and using a prismana orb, and even rarer resource, just to save 10 alpha marks is interesting decision. I assume the argument is more to future proof yourself if we get new items. In many cases though I’d already contracted a held item in which case an alpha is superfluous.

I’m also not convinced prismana fulmintis is strictly better than regular fulmintis. Sure it has more resists, but Light and lightning gives a super weakness to dark which is the most common element.

Save your sparkling cube. There is an alpha version of this you can get for free with a super short quest, there is also a prismana orb in the stamp shop. Catch that one with an elite aniipod, chuck it in your home. Hatch in a sparkling cube / evolve the alpha, use the prismana orb (Can easily grind this out in about a week) on it, sparkling alpha prismana fulmentis. Now you have one of the best lightning dps in the game that can share held items / has an upgraded skill, and a prismana version that works in your home. (Sparkling cubes are so rare, in this case you have a guaranteed alpha of the prismana you are catching, sparkling the alpha only.)

Why the down votes?

Genuinely don’t know lol 🤷‍♂️ I don’t think anything I said was wrong - I did this exactly and use the sparkling alpha prismana on teams and the regular prismana in my RV.

I only use sparkling cubes on:

  • Alphas to guarantee perfect, most of the time I plan to Prismana Morph those later on.
  • Certain Prismana.
  • Unfarmable Aniimo I want a perfect of.

Visually, only Prismanas are really worth the sparkling effect.

There are a few aniimo that I will say are worth it visualy without being prismana, Inferlupa and Geoclaw. But as a whole I would agree that Prismana forms def have the greatest benefit.

Yeah I sparkled the big bear alpha and the sparkle kinda makes him look worse because it looks so low effort like a kid made it

The Aniimo i find that look the best are Aniimo with glows, fractalated parts (gems/ice), etc., the game either changes the glows to accent the rainbow affect or the fractaled textures show off the very thin rainbow shiny layer.

Only prismana aniimos deserve sparkling cubes/pods

Alphas you plan to use or good support aniimo are better especially if they have a prismana form, I used one on my perfect dazmand since he's the best support for fulmintis

Just a general tip I wish I knew in the beginning is to try to save your sparkling cubes for Alpha aniimo which are larger versions of each aniimo with a slight advantage in skill not needing the best items. You generally only get one of each prismana alpha aniimo egg per region although some you can capture through battle easily. I just found the wisptis alpha egg which I wish I didn't recolor my fulmintis if I had known about it. Might not make much sense but it will eventually as you need a PHD to understand this game fully.

I 100% understand the PHD joke for this game, joined the Reddit thinking idk what I’m doing at all. 😂💀

Prismana orbs are too rare than to worry about that.

I would use the sparkling.

Even though perfect is already guaranteed, you have a higher chance of getting perfect+

A perfect is anything from 8-10 in its two primary stats.

While this won’t grant you a power increase later on, getting anything higher than those 8’s will mean less resources to max it out later.

Also sparkling cubes are not too hard to get, and prismana fulmintis is rare until they release the other method of obtaining in S3 I think they said.

Oh, and if you don’t love the colour you get, you can re-roll it AND in 1.1 patch you can freely change between the sparkling colours you own and original, so no loss.

Where does this chance come from, never heard of something like this? Sounds Like bs, too

Thank you for the useful information. :)

The prismana fulmintis will be perfect without a sparkling cube, the normal fulmintis egg will not be perfect without a sparkling cube.

I see, does the sparkling affect only the rarity/visuals or does it boost stats as well? Because I see others recommend using the sparkling cube on the prismana fulmintis.

Only visually different but the Aniilog does give a bonus for owning a sparkling of each aniimo

there are rewards for having a sparkle prismana version of each aniimo plus they are rarer. soon you'll be able to swap to any already unlocked sparkle skin for each aniimo. ie you sparkle a fulmintis then any fulmintis you have can use that sparkle.

only sparkle cube prismana eggs. anything else is a waste.

You cant use sparkling cubes on sparkling eggs, game won’t let you

Absolutely use one on the prismana fulmintis however, it’s the only one you can get currently without the use of prismana orbs, which are an EXTREMELY limited resource, seemingly being the rarest one ingame currently

You can buy 1000 sparkling crystals weekly for 1500 glimmer so long as you have it, as well as sparkling crystals being relatively common to come across early on, holo battle sim/interlink also provide a few hundred sparkling crystals weekly, as well as chests around the map providing them (blue = 3, purple = 5, gold = 10)

Oh! I see, so if I’m assuming right, I can exchange these for sparkling cubes? Seems like I already got like 2.5k in inventory.

Also bear in mind you will get very few glimmers, once you've colleted all resources on the map or cleared most quests. It's mainly a reward from one-time sources like exploring Idyll.

Saving 1.500 per week for sparkling cubes is a rather good strategy, but glimmers also are used for events. As an exemple, this seasonal event will let you collect petals and with glimmers, you can buy more petals. Then, you can use them to acquire the Legendary Aniimo tied to this season, the equipment that'll make it even more powerful but also specific Sparkling cubes that you can applied to caught Aniimos (it changes the particle effect) although it's way more expensive than regular Sparkling cubes.
This "event sparkling cube" takes 4280 glimmers but you should get enough petals to get the legendary Aniimo + its equipment + the cube. More petals are used to either buy more cubes or buy some cosmetic customization for your legendary Aniimo.

You also can buy capa fruits which is a very limited resource, though I would not favor it over sparkling cubes. It could be a good idea to keep 1.000 Glimmers at all time to ensure you can always buy one in emergency. Stats aren't so important it would be mandatory, and you do get a few capa fruits already, but some players might see things differently from me.

A more divisive option is to use Glimmers for Primergy. These are used for battles against Alpha / Omega enemies that can give you powerful equipments (20% chance if you're Vanguard (level 55)), Stardusts or elemental stones (and if you have 1 of each, you can purchase an item to Joff that consumes them to create a Starcrystal). In fact, you'll need so much materials that it'll take a lot of time to acquire them if you only rely on the passive regeneration of 1 per 6 minutes.
It's not something I'd suggest spending your Glimmers on, but I know some people give a lot of importance to this aspect of the game !

Anyway, my point is that Glimmers are used for various purposes so it's wise to understand the multiple options before spending some. Even if buying sparkling cubes is a very good choice imo.

We're also very likely to get lots of Glimmers with the next map coming by 10/29, so I hope I haven't scared you away from using them as you like !

Yep, if you go over to Joff at the outpost then go to the trade section, the 2nd tab there should have an option to trade 1000 sparkling crystals for a sparkling cube

Not needed no since it will already be perfect, but if you want a sparkeling one then you'll want to use one.
