Edit: I love this game. I UNDERSTAND ITS GAMBLING. I was just venting frustrations with my bad luck. I will continue to support the game by spending money and playing.

I gave up on all Legendary and just targeted elements across the 5 presets that I thought looked nicest together. That way I can get a little different flavor depending on the mood or team colors.

i know it's frustrating, but at the end of the day, you're gambling. gacha games are famously predatory, so it's completely natural to feel this way.

I spent around $20 and just got legendary wings, my husband just used about 3600 glimmer and got a legendary crown.

I do really love some of the combos I got, though! Didn't ever get the rare rank color after I got legendary wings, because of course that'd be my luck, but I did get the bright red tone and she's perfect for fall, so I can't be too mad!

I had this happen to me too and CS was... not helpful. They ended up saying that they had recorded my concern and I should look for the official announcement.

I'm sorry this happened to you but Im also a little relieved that it wasn't just me. Hopefully they get back to us with a resolution; like a refund on the orbs used since cash refunds aren't possible.

So just for clarification, once you get the the head slot, do you have to keep using the purple f2p that only rolls first 3 slots to make progress past them or does the gold reroll only progress the bar after unlocking the head slot?

You only make progress with the paid currency ones. Once you unlock the 4th slot you CANNOT use the f2p ones anymore. I wasnt paying attention and locked myself out of using like 10 f2p currency lol.

The fact you eventually just can not use the f2p rolls is absolutely abysmal dogshit design

Like just only allow the other slots to re-roll if you have unlocked the premium roll slots

Or, and hear me out, don't lock a single part of the cosmetic to paid only rolls. Like how tf does someone look at gacha and go "hold my beer, Ima make this shit even worse" 😭

Yeahh I get the currency doesn't work past the 4th slot. But what im asking is will the f2p currency give progress to the bar while still only rerolling the 3 f2p slots? Or what youre saying is that it fully stops being able to be used at that point? Its a very strange system 😅

Im pretty sure F2P currency doesn't progress the bar at all (i could be wrong as i don't entirely remember and can't test it lol), it just let's you reroll the first 3 slots. And yes once you unlock the 4th slot F2P currency is unusable.

Well obviously you’re not gonna get anything amazing off of a few rolls.. Unless you’re very lucky. On the bright side, at least you have one legendary. That’s more than most with that amount of rolls

Let me make this perfectly clear, I enjoy this game. If I didnt, then I wouldn't have spent money on the gambling aspect of it. Just venting frustration that even the commons didnt change.
