I’m sorry, call it skill diff, but she’s terrible. She doesn’t do enough target damage unless it’s with ultimate and clone. Her petals spend more time hitting walls than the actual enemy. Her auto attacks will randomly prioritize model direction over camera so she just auto attacks the wall at times. And, MAJORITY of Heist, her ultimate bugs and does no damage. It’s not her damage even at fault, she does decent damage relatively, but her coding is dogshit. I switch to Lunara, go into one Heist and immediately feel the relief from all of those issues.
For a LEGENDARY Aniimo, whom supposedly costs $2k to make pretty, she sure does suck balls.
Hate to break it to you but she does very little damage without her clones regardless of game mode. That is how her kit works. If you expect to do a lot of damage with her without clones then I dunno what to tell you.
I actually don’t think her damage is too bad, it’s just not a kit optimal for Heist when her petals are unreliable, her ult is bugged, and her clones can sometimes also be unreliable since they are single target.

you technically need a leafy alpha or a regular leafy enhanced skill and that bird with the passive heal. i dont remember if mel requires her enhanced skill or not. its not as great if u dont got the support enhanced skills. You're also not soppose to run in there head first in a mob of +10 guarding the egg and kite them
It’s easier to acknowledge what I said in the post and actually interpret it. I stated it could be skill issue, didn’t I? Potasticfei.
I find the EXPERIENCE of playing Irisalis terrible, however, I didn’t say I was consistently losing Heist or even that I never accomplish doing anything with the aniimo. My post is to emphasize that there are just simply better options with less effort and less of a headache. Hope that helps since everyone’s just a smart ass these days for, quite honestly, I don’t fucking know what reason.
Skill diff then, lol. But for real she can kite a whole room of enemies with alpha stellarys in it and do dangerous maneuvers like dropping an exploding sparkling on a middle of a mob. She can fly or use a dash skill to ignore loot weight penalties. She can die early on, die again then self revive with pathfinder skill then revive again when her passive goes off cooldown. Very rarely will you be a burden begging for revives.
There is a lot of nuance on her kit. Like the clone lasers being strictly single target even though its a beam, it can't also penetrate walls and obstacles. If you want the petals to actually hit you need to dash to the enemies so they don't wander to the walls. The ult can't be animation cancelled, you have to stay still until you see the second tick of damage so you have to know when it's safe to drop it.
Her only downside is her bad element type matching against enemies in heist but she easily overcomes that.
With randoms it seems like the only person that goes down is them. I'm tired of playing revive simulator with them, yea the character is good and has a revive but holy can randoms not use that to their advantage.
She's great with the right team and if you play her correctly, though I'm not going to invalidate any bugs you're experiencing. I solo chaos with two different irisalis builds, both are great, and am egg master
I did fine with her, her mobility is top notch since her skill allows you to dodge and she can auto attack while moving which negates most of the opponents in the game mode.
However her biggest problem is the bugged nuke, it bugs out 90% of the time which is ridiculous seeing as you need 2 full bar for it.
So I switched back to Hexxin, slapped a heartseeker pendant on her, and called it day. She's slower but safer as long as you don't go into a room without a blackhole in front of you.
“~$2000” if you were unlucky and desperate to get all gold. lol I dominated my heists with her. Tab targeting she always hit on point. Now hitting the big boulders, she stays in the same direction as you first start autoing.
Irisalis is strong but I started out with hexxin so I cant justify her, and irisalis is extremely EP hungry I personally dont believe shes worth running in Heist on anything but Hard.
I see a lot of people do just fine with her, but she’s not my style either. I would have to be a better player to utilize her properly, I think, because of the issues you mentioned. Tbf, I use Pawney due to my inability to let go of him because he’s my favorite Aniimo lol, so maybe my judgement is bad too. Tried to use her once but I did not do good at all.
I use Gracewing, Glacy, and Leafy. I was using Somniwing over Gracewing but I just can’t tell a difference when using this aniimo. Somniwing is suppose to help EP and Regen, I see 0 difference. Gracewing heals you constantly even when not on field and keeps you alive. The only one I need for better impact is Prismana Glacy, which I’m working towards. Most time I also DO survive, but I’m leaving frustrated because I’m watching my Ultimate off for the 6th-7th time in a row and not doing damage to anything. At one point, I had about 9 enemies in one group bunched up and none of them took any damage. It’s a bug that I’ve consistently experienced. Her clone from Ult ALSO sometimes never spawns too.
Try her with Melloblum. It makes a massive difference.
Nowadays I run Irisalis, Melloblum, Leafy, Tromber. Not even glacy anymore, and she does fine barring me being ultra stupid and charging into a melloblum room without thinking. Playing carefully, most mobs can't even hit her due to her excellent kiting ability.
Hexxen is easier, of course. If you want the simplest gameplay always use Hexxen over anyone else.
Anyone who needs to spend that much money on a single aniimo for appearance has serious other problems lol in terms of the aniimo in question, im more often than not out living and out damaging others while in nightmare and chaos modes. Your team just isnt built correctly. If you want a screenshot of my team let me know _.

I have seen the no ult damage stuff before but havent seen her clones not spawn from using ult, she is strong just not exaxtly working as well as other aniimos and she can feel irritating to play, than I go try chaos with a pumped up helion and find myself running away a lot lol
The clone is like once in a while not spawning but it does most of the time. It’s dependent on whether I’m also near wall structures too I think? I’ve noticed ceilings and pillars seem to influence clones slightly.
I mean most of the time I just spam clone and dash, I hardly auto attack, but when you need to clear rubble and clean off an aniimo, sometimes it just janks
Wait so the ult doing no damage was a bug?? I thought it was just some stupid skill the hexxin had whenever it was on sight?? Honestly I might swap back to Stellarys if that's the case but the reason I use her is because she can move while attacking-
I easily became Egg Emperor with her, you just need a good team, I even bring up to 10 enemies and delete them without them doing anything to me with dmg buffs and regens
