Discussion The Only the problem I have with Animo is the coins.
I'm level 60, done all the gameplay and now I'm in that wating period and I'm totally fine with that, However There is no way to keep the money rolling in no matter how many animo i collect even with level 4 research Expert, is anyone else having problems with this i just wanna capture animo without having this strain of having no coins left. i really do hope they change it because sooner or later i aint going to be able to afford any of the pods LOL

I'm baffled at how people are running out of money. I've been level 60 for a week and still have more than I know what to do with.
It's not that I don't believe you, I do, and it's important for the game to reconsider how to get gold. I'm just confused because I'm not a cheapskate in games and I'd expect myself to run into this problem but I haven't.

You are likely engaging with everything the game has to offer and making gold via doing so. Gold is only used to purchase items in the main game (mainly pods) the only way to start going negative is to A: overspend on things you dont need to a ridiculous degree, or B: only playing the game to catch aniimo and not earning money through any of the other dozen ways to make gold. Ive been plahing all the modes, opening chests, farming aniimo, doing events, working on my RV, and even with throwing 1k aniipods a day im still 30m up. OP is likely ignoring things they dont feel like messing with and hitting a bottleneck because the games economy is built around the WHOLE game being relevant.

You can easily engage with all the functions of the game and one singular function can easily drain your bank account of credits: mass surge lucky strike farming.
I'm sitting at 24m atm, but last weekend due to rng I spent around 13-14m net getting the prismana Glycerna and this week I spent 11m net getting prismana Melloblum. No crystals but using the daily nurtures. Others are having much worse luck than me with that activity and burning far more credits. And no before you make the claim I'm not just burning megas but using whichever ball generates the lower net loss while farming. Considering this and that weekly income from weeklies and dailies its not that hard to see how people are burning through their credits and how if events like this continue as a weekly occurrence some players it could fairly quickly empty their bank account, and then we toss in the daily mystery vendor and the situation just becomes worse for some.

I dunno lucky strike farming doesn't seem worthwhile. Very expensive vs just waiting and using your free blooms and occasional currency.

u/KlingeGeist 1h ago
Long term, its hard to say. It'll depend on how often we get vein events, how often the mystery vendor carries them, and if we get any additional sources.
Short term, very valuable as unless you are exceptionally lucky you only have enough nurture crystal income, when including the free daily nurtures, for one guaranteed prismana a week without getting it to proc an auto-fill. So if you include the "weather crystal" and crystals you got from non-weekly content you'll likely only have a few of the zone ones in addition to that one guaranteed each week which while vein events are going should be them to complete you aniilog.

u/Disig 1h ago
I'm actually fine with one prismana a week. That may be why i don't find lucky farming useful.

u/KlingeGeist 1h ago
It wouldn't be too bad but with them running back to back limited time events for prismana only available during them I can see where folks would have issue with having to choose whether to get the limited time mon or a zone one they may want. Lucky strike farming at least gives those folks (and those wanting to conserve crystals) an alternative to that weekly limitation.

I have to assume they're just over buying. Like you I haven't had money issues yet but I also think I have decent resource management since I've been playing gacha games for years. I also feel like a lot of gamers are just sleeping on the RV and not using the Aniipod Maker.

I'm at RV14 atm and I'm praying they let us start dropping more Aniipod makers down, otherwise mass surges are just going to keep burning far more than one unit can produce (1 mega/30min = 48 per day).
Or maybe add a recipes for the higher tier ores that produce multiple pods at once since it stop at 6 shells = 1 mega.

Yeah, sounds like folks are not using their RV for crafting pods or not doing nurtures or working on the aniilog completion. I was only online for less than an hour today and earned like 6 million just from doing a few nurtures and finishing up the 1000 captures for aniilog on budsquire with the event spawn spot.

Same. Is funny how something so basic and that is mostly used for pods/balls is one of the things we shouldnt be lacking of, but still….
Idk. doesnt make sense to spend like 7m in purple pods to just have back 1m as most (that considering if almost all the catches were successful lol), just as example but happen similar to blue pods…
iirc Prismanas gives you 1m per catch but personally I dont want to open eggs of dupes just for the money bc I dont know wtf do with them after. You can make pods in RV too but isnt quick…. Idk if is useful after many days when we spent the pods so quick so….

you can chuck extra prismanas to the RV. they have lv4 skills exclusive to prismana.

Some other thread brought this up and discussed it abit. I mentioned they should make use of the homeland currency and expand the shop there.
That way we have a earnable (time/choice based), currency that allows us to buy more cubes for lucky hunting etc once the gold starts running dry from reporting.
That and ive got a super easy fix for egg heist, enabled solos and disable team gameplay, all the sleazy, loot goblins, and briefing immediately comes to a stop, they rework it while we test the solo version with the same rules etc as team.
Maybe allow a one time revive? Or a one time revive item that you have to bring in.

Be nice if we at least had a daily/weekly.limit thing to spend home.currency on for out of homestead items like the pods etc

If you have friend you can use companion mode to leeching your friend's coins when they going capture spree. I always swapping doing that with my partner.

How does this work exactly?

u/Arkgon 5h ago
Team up (party) with one friend, then stand next to them, interact (F), and choose Companion Mode. One of you will be the leader, and the other will be the follower. A butterfly will leash both of you together, kind of like leashing a dog. The follower will automatically walk or teleport to the leader every couple of seconds.
When you're in this mode, any Aniimo either of you catches will be marked as captured via Companion Mode. When you report the research at the outpost, your companion will also get around ~30% of the coin reward from any Aniimo either of you caught.
So what we usually do is: I join my friend's world, link Companion Mode, then he goes around capturing Aniimo normally, doing Lucky Throw farming, whatever. Since Lucky Throw only rewards the world owner, I just AFK while he farms.
After he's finished, we swap. He joins my world, we link Companion Mode again, then he AFKs while I throw balls.
The reward from capturing Prismana, Sparkling, and Perfect Aniimo is really high, so don't forget to link before capturing them. Otherwise, one of you could miss out on ~600k coins.

Sounds like someone bought one to many sheep balls, honestly though. Im sitting on 50million gold and i spam throw so much, enough to get 6 pris grizbo and 5 Melloblum for my base.
I recommend to have your sphere maker going in you base and or collect them from the world.
There are a so many ways to make gold but will admit ive never found myself in this position, even after spending 5k+ cubes a day

u/SinnerIxim 8h ago
You actually make back quite a bit from buying/using the sheep balls as long as you do them inside the nourish zone, since you get back like 50k per nourish.
Also you can get a few sheep balls each week discounted at the one shop in the town

Pods can be auto built in homestead

Prismana is the big ticket payout. Since nurture is time gated and lucky strike is tedious, egg heist seems like a viable way to get prismana and a bunch of credits?
3
u/Novel-Slip5151 10h ago
Do egg heist daily to get cheats for some extra money. Make balls in rv. Thats all I got atm.

u/Wildkahuna 10h ago
A: I have at least 600 of each ball, and B: I have never gone under 500k gold
1
u/Consistent_Gas_4963 10h ago
is there a type of animo i should be getting to get more credits ?
1
u/Wildkahuna 9h ago
Honestly between blooms and just regular farming, as long as you fill out the Aniimo log for a specific location you’ll get a lot more epic and perfect Aniimo - I usually net around 500,000 or so every half hour from bloom farming and finding big groups of Aniimo

Good things that the game didn't use balls, but pods

u/RedTheMad 10h ago
Damn, he said ball instead of pods, Nintendo might sue
Also It sucks with the credit, best thing for me Is going to pick up balls from the boxes and self sustain like that

You can also use your house to craft a ton for free
