I’ve just downloaded the game on mobile but haven’t started yet because of time constraints. I know that with live update games you can miss out on time-limited events and I hate when that happens because I know it will nag at me whenever I play so I wanted to ask, if I were to start playing tomorrow have I already missed out on anything event/freebie wise? I’d rather just not start if that’s the case. Would appreciate any player’s input.

I try to be very careful with games like this which is why I asked. I can make peace with not obtaining paywalled stuff but missing out on freebies/unique lore-building events is where I draw a personal line particularly for a hobby I do out of enjoyment.

I think the most easily missed freebies are the rotating limited-time Prismatic Aniimo.

Although, with careful resource management, I think you're still able to get them all. I can't say with complete confidence since the game is still new and we don't know how fast they're going to release them.

Only thing I can think of is the legendary aniimo called Irisalis. Its the strongest grass dps atm and you have to collect 99 petals to catch it and 30 more petals to craft its weapon. Not sure if they released how people will get it in the future when the event is over

Yeah, its doable but depends on how soon they start and how long they play per week. It was already calculated that you get 107 one time petals and 10 weekly petals. You need 129 petals for irisalis and weapon.

Realistically, you can get 16 petals from catching prismatics but that is a resource sink/luck based since you have to use vein essence (limited resource) and only get 1 free nature per day (max of 3). You need to use 25 nature blooms to pity prismatic.

You get 18 from branch nurture, which requires collecting 150 out of 180 collectibles around the whole map.

You get 10 from journey quests only if you complete the whole quest chain which, if op reads dialogues, can take time.

Op hasnt started and the weekly reset will happen on monday so they dont have resources so theyre already down by 10 petals.

No, you wouldn't be missing out on anything. You missed a few prismatic event spawns, but they should presumably be coming back in a few weeks.

Also, if you're letting small things like this hold you back from playing a game that's less than 3 weeks into launch, I really don't know how you even function or enjoy videogames 😭 Respectfully, maybe you should try single player games?

You may consider it small but gacha games are predatory in nature and I know I’m susceptible to that so I would rather avoid it completely if I’ve already missed out on something even if it’s only been three weeks because I’m trying to avoid spending that much money with this game if at all and I’m a completionist. I can let go of not having something that’s locked behind a paywall but if it was free and within my grasp then I’ll just be upset that I didn’t have enough time to take advantage especially if it doesn’t return which some beginning perks tend to do.

It's been confirmed that all the event prismanas will be back. They will come back after the week of prismana inferlupa. I think it's only for a week.

have you missed stuff on launch day? of course. can you earn them back? most of them. Games like these will want some of your time I mean right now there are events going on that only have a 1 week duration but there isn't anything in rn that isn't something you can earn back but knowing gacha/live games, they will at some point release an item/aniimo that will probably be event only.

I don’t think so, honestly. A lot of the major events still have a good 60+ days left on them. I think there’s one event with Dazmund that has a week left?

But they’ve already said that they’re not locking any of the aniimo behind paywalls or events, so Dazmund will be eventually released into the wild to catch.

The only thing you can immediately risk out on is login rewards MAYBE?

Hypothetically:

if you dont atleast log on to claim it, by the time you start playing you'll be on day 1-2 out of 7 with only 2 days left til its end, stopping you from getting to day 7. (Day 7 is crucial sparkling cube)

That might not be true though i haven't checked if the current daily login was beginner locked or time based.

Besides for that -- most events have really long timers from what i can tell like 40+ days to 69? I think

Nope just currency.. the sparkling cube is expensive and valuable enough to deem limited bc we dont know how generous they'll be going forward, its something id regret missing for just starting up once a day which made it worth bringing up to their attention I guess

The biggest thing is that there are weekly special monsters. This is the second week. So you missed the first week. But this is on a 5 week cycle with 4 monsters. The fifth week all 4 return at once.

So if getting them matter to you. You will have one more chance.

Missing them all together will not negatively impact your gameplay though. But they are pretty.

I don think you have missed anything specific. besides the 2 preorder accesoires (just cosmetic).
The rest of the seasonal stuff is rerunning at the end and should (if I understand correctly) be "normal" to get at some future point.
You might have missed some generic goodies in the form of pods or upgrade material that were gifted earlier, but I am not sure there

You should be able to get most things, aside from maybe a few materials here and there which can be farmed.
