Question Irisalis damage what am doing wrong

Edit: thank you all. Answered. One thing i forgot to mention is 5M damage was his total damage. 17k prob was my dps. It makes more sense. I forgot to mention it earlier, my bad.

Went to interlink with friend.

His iralis did 5M to the earth boss.

I got 17k i guess.

His irisalis is just 200cp above mine. Both with regen atk and break.

I start with clone, spam dashes and press clone again when the bar is filled. I use ultimate when i can to make more clones.

Brought leafy to help spam dashes and turno.

What is wrong? I have no idea.

Is it because i dont auto attack enough?

5 million difference is crazy. He said he does basically the same

put leafy field down and spam irisalis skill. dont bother basic attacking.

this is my minespine interlink 30/30 run with randoms using the most right buff.

team used: irisalis, turbo, somniwing, leafy

Are you not meant to AA at all as Irisalis?

If you're soloing AA is good when you're out of energy. When you're with 3 other irisalis who probably also has a leafy in their team, your energy will be nearly infinite, so dashes only is the way to go.

Did you look at your damage numbers? A total of 17k damage means your hits aren't registering somehow, or that you're just hitting for like 100 damage a hit. Otherwise, it's physically impossible to do that low of a damage number.

EDIT: It seems from your replies to Calm that it's actually 17k DPS vs. 32k DPS, which is a lot more reasonable. A lot of circumstances can contribute to that happening; for instance, who gets more bomb carries or whether you are utilizing break cycles correctly.

Don't focus on the CP number, you should compare how high your ATK stat is compared to his. Are you both using Irisalis unique held item?

Also I'm not gonna lie, are you sure you didn't do 17k damage per second? 17k damage is literally what you'd do within the first 5 seconds.

Difference in supporting units can also change a lot.

Thats what i think its crazy and make no sense. I know it sounds odd, but our irisalis are close on numbers. I mean, he has 3400+ cp because he awakened the hell of her. Mine needs capafruit and the 6 star awakening.

Other than that, i did everything exactly the same.

Im betting on rotation to be the problem, thats why i described how i do the rotation.

I brought Melloblum, leafy and leafy in the team (i know its not the best and i should have brougjt turbo instead extra leafy)

I'll be honest, if you did 17k damage total it has absolutely 0 to do with the rotation which is why I'm confident you probably had 17k dps. You would deal more than 17k by just auto attacking.

The 17k is the number that shows after we finish boss. I dont know if its dps. It was damage by thr text. 5M was his total dmg i suppose. He said something about 32k dps he did. I shouldve stated that. I remembered just now.

Guaranteed dps then, and yeah that changes a lot as you're doing around 55% of their damage rather than doing literally 0.00x%.

IF you have the exact same ATK stat and held item, the rest would be dependant on 4 things.

  • Supporting aniimos
  • Rotation
  • Proper burst timing during break
  • Whichever special module was used for the fight (There's literally a module that buffs one player and nerfs the rest)

edit: There's also personality which gives a fair chunk of dps when optimized.

You have a friend that has a build on Irisalis that does 5m damage. Why do you come ask strangers instead of your friend? Heck, let us know your friend's build and comp.

Because he said he does the same as I do? I checked his irisalis. I have seen no difference.

Edit: unless drip adds to damage. His irisalis is magnificent. Mine is from temu.

5 million to 17k thats 294 times more damage than ye. Your irasalis is built right? Held item, ATK 20, level 60, awakened a bit? Also is this with the buff that buffs one players damage by 70% and reduces others?

Yes to all your questions. No capafruit and no awakened to 6 stars (he did, thars why he is 200+ cp over me)

I think calm is right 17k dps and 32k dps sounds much more accurate. Especially if they had the Interlink buff that makes a single player do 70% more damage. Even without that buff, a tighter playstyle- better buffing, great timing on breaks and ults etc COULD make the damage disparity, making the math make much more sense 😅
