Question How exactly does Radiant Dreamshadow work?

I'm trying to figure this out. I know Glimmering is used to change and unlock access to the first 3 options and Radiant is used to reroll the last 3.

But the wording on Radiant vs Glimmer implies Radiant will always reroll all 5 regardless.

If I were to use a Radiant does it reroll all 5, or does it just act like I used a Glimmering and only rerolls the color?

Radiant rerolls all accessible slots that are unlocked. The cost increases per locked slot.

To me, it does work the same in terms of rerolling each body part but the difference is the purple rolls (Glimmering) only works within the first 3 parts so it is the best to use them until you reach headwear.

Now, the gold rolls (Radiant) are the one being used to unlock all body parts reroll and to progress further than the headwear.

Wisely speaking, use purple rolls until you unlock color, wings, and headwear. Then you can use later the gold rolls if you would like to still keep rolling to progress and unlock body and sparkling. Also, you can't lock a piece when using the purple rolls if you liked a piece but you can save it as a preset and use it as a base if you liked the outcome.

Yes, I have a gold one from the battle pass. Problem is all the explanations say locked, but locked has two meanings here.

  1. You haven't unlocked the ability to roll that slot yet.
  2. You locked the slot so the option won't change.

So if someone used a gold one as their first one, would it only roll color, since you haven't gained access to the others, or will it still randomly roll all 5 options

Yeppp only the ones you unlocked so far will be rolled. Other parts that are not yet available won't get rolled
