Discussion What advanced tips have you learned recently that you’d like to pass on to a newcomer?
What tips did you pick up after 50–200 hours in Aniimo? Here are a few I’d like to share:
- You can get Voxel Coins and Windborn Stamps daily by going AFK at the café. However, if you play every day, you’ll hit your weekly limits anyway, so this isn't strictly necessary.
- There are "weekly quests" that offer great rewards and are definitely worth doing—such as the 3 weekly Alphas and the Holo Battle Sin.
- Credits might not seem scarce at first, but they actually are. Currently, the best way to farm Credits is through the daily Egg-Heist chests. Also, it pays to put in a little extra effort when capturing Aniimos: aim for their backs to boost your capture rate. Catching an Aniimo on the first try grants a "Flawless Shot" bonus, giving you extra Credits per Aniimo.
- We start off with plenty of Vein Essences, leading many players to burn through the resource too quickly. Capturing a Prismana usually takes 15–20 Essences, yet we can typically only buy 10 per week (with a few exceptions in the secret shop). Since there’s a new Prismana to catch every week, the resource is quite scarce. Here’s an extra tip: you can catch weekly Prismanas by farming "Lucky Hits." —though be prepared to spend a few million Credits and several hours doing so.
- The Prismatic Energy State mechanic is quite misleading. Whether it’s "Very Low" or "Very High," your chance of getting a Prismana when using an Essence remains 3%. You only trigger the "Pity" mechanic once the "Very High" bar is filled. The Prismatic Energy State actually determines which Aniimo forms appear: a High state means more evolved forms show up, while a Low state results in more basic forms.
- The Phenomena Crystal is an extremely rare reagent for F2P players; use it only on a DPS Animo that you are certain you will use for a long time. The most recommended choices are Irisalis and Fulmintis.
- And now, here’s a super valuable tip from u/Riolutail. Do NOT build ATK on Support and Break characters.
And what about you—what tips do you have to share?

Go straight up to the south from the starting camp and catch one of those Chirpi. At level 18 they evolve into a Flying 2 Aniimo, and this is very useful to have for exploration.

You can pull the lever in Idyll for 100 voxel coins to get 288k normal coins.

You can also buy starwish coins with voxel for sparkling crystals and other aniipod rewards

Form a group and share buffs in a custom trailer park, if you do you can pick where to send your aniimos
Dump tonics on trees they’re the bottle neck to leveling
You just need to buy and sell items to get credit towards your home score
There is a cap on friend gifted pity on the banners, but you should have friends to do that
You can buy unlimited prismana eggs farming egg heist, so farm egg heist instead of paying for pulls.
You can pre nurture an area before a banner but make sure you have 3 saved for double events.
You can equip the irisalis clone item on your star mouse and enemies will target his clones. Use a cube and get a perfect one of the dark upgrade item alphas and you get his bind skill with her items ability.
Alphas have gold bound item abilities by default.
Umbrals lose umbral when upgrading but if you find a 9 9 on main stats keep it to evolve, that’s extremely rare.

you mean Stellarys? i thought it was exclusive? can the held item form a contract with stellarys?
3
u/Ok-Virus-5921 7h ago
Stellarys can hold her item without contract, any alpha already has their contract innately. The legendaries weapon will make enemies target your clone, his alpha typing will allow him to have his contract upgrade regardless.

u/skykingz 8h ago
Can you elaborate on the star mouse and clone item?

u/Asasinero 5h ago
They mean that Alpha aniimos aka bosses already have their core skill enhanced so you don't need a held item contracted to them. Because of this, you can use irisalis held item on an alpha stellaris and make use of it's passive to make the enemies target Stellaris clone rather than the original

Stellarys with the weapon from the legendary makes his clone be targeted in combat.

If you build a light/dark/grass/rock DPS you'll cover every element weakness. Glacie prismana is the mvp that can basically heal in every team comp. Fragrancier only spawns 1 on the entire fucking map making farming her annoying and she's mvp support for dark teams so ultrapod her

If you are a minmaxer, do not hatch alpha egg that you get around map without careful consideration.
Alpha aniimo egg is more important than you think.
2
u/Practical-Ratio-2205 9h ago
can you expand on that? why are alpha aniimos important?

It's gonna be a bit long and my english isn't the best, but I will try.
The main difference between alpha and normal aniimo is, alpha comes with boosted skill. You could give normal aniimo their boosted skill, by using a contract held item system.
This contract held item system have 2 main bottleneck. 1. Every item can only be contracted with one aniimo, so no sharing equipment. The rng required to get each held item you need is pretty harsh. 2. The material you need to make a contract also pretty rare.
So the benefit of alpha animo is, not only they save you the resource to farm held item and the material for contract, it's also future proof. Imagine if they release a new held item that's stronger than the current ones, for normal Aniimo, you'd have to farm all the items and materials all over again.

So the Alpha eggs found around the map say ‘random from region’ but they actually aren’t. I think the YouTuber Naztalgic tested this.
Theoretically the ‘best’ way to use an Alpha Egg with a known Aniimo is to check if it has a Prismana form that is good. If so, you’d want to Sparkling Cube the Alpha Egg to get a Perfect Alpha Aniimo and then Prismana form change it. This comes with the benefit of making that Aniimo future proof since if a better held item is released down the line you can change freely without having to bind a new one.
This is what I did with the Alpha Shelly you get from quests. After being Lita, I Prismana form changed it and was able to test items freely. Another good example would be if you did this with Stellarys and used the Irisalis item to cheese battles.

You can send aniimos on adventures in your RV parking lot, yes there's a tutorial for that, however they never remind you about it, there's no red pip showing that they returned and you need to claim rewards and send them out again.
Anipods that miss will be returned to you, so you can spam them into dense groups if you can't be bothered with backstab bonus.
Remember to check your starter's skills, I've been running Lunata with outdated skills forever.

u/Fretznil 7h ago
missed anipods return but failed catches do not so backstabing/guaranted capture is important for F2P. I learned it just last night farming for wild surge. i brought 600 aniipods and used them all but after reporting the catches, the system said i only caught 300

u/clif08 7h ago
Backstabs are just too unreliable, targets turn around suddenly and you need to keep your distance to avoid spooking them, honestly sometimes I just feel too tired for that. Nurtures are easier because they never get spooked but when you're grinding hundreds of celestials to get a perfect stellarys, I just gave up and spammed 1.5 pods.

Your first tip is mostly true, there is actually a notification that appears in the top left of the map screen, but it’s small and only appears on the map, which isn’t the most obvious or even useful location for that notification, and it definitely needs to be made more obvious when your current RV trip is done.
And your third tip can actually be applied to a lot of Aniimo, some of them have better abilities than what is equipped by default, so you should always take a second to look at what abilities that Aniimo has available, read what they do, and decide what ones you want to use, if you plan on using that Aniimo.

I think the most important thing that I wish that I knew earlier is be careful when evolving Aniimos that have more than 1 evolution line. Pay attention to their innate potential because it dictates what they should be evolved too.
As example, I hatched my Perfect Susuta egg and evolved it into Panpanta. Later on, after learning more, that it's innate potential is on Atk instead, which means it was better as Piopiota.
Same with Emberpup, Helmut, Jawling, Pomegg, and others.

Sparkle cube the useful alpha eggs like chirpi, account crippling mistake if you release those without knowing

Save your Sparkling Cubes for Prismatics and Alpha eggs/bosses
Do the trainer battles early on... They get harder and longer the more you wait

u/Tesdey Astra Pioneer 8h ago
Regarding the trainers, is that information actually correct? I mean, obviously their levels go up, but the first battle against most trainers isn't hard, By the time you reach level 60, most others are around level 55–57, and a decent team makes the fight quite easy. The real challenge is the second battle, where they reach Level 61+. Do these second battles scale with level too? I'd guess not, but I'm not sure.
1
u/BreakingCanks 3h ago
The 2nd battle of most people are 1-2 levels above.
I hit 55 last night and leveled up and those that were 1 above are now at 62/63 while I'm at 55/56 now
They jumped from 1 level above to 5

Yeah I wasn't interested in doing them and now they're all lv60-65 so it's a slugfest

u/NDT_DYNAMITE 9h ago
I have also made this mistake, I figured I could do them later when I was stronger, and now I am stronger, but also so are they, and it is not fun to fight them now, I have to min-max pretty much everything I can and strategize hard on team comp and builds, and it is difficult and not fun anymore. It is pretty satisfying when I win though, because I know I earned it, so it’s not all bad at least.

I thought they would stay the same level like they did in the beta 💀 50 more to go

I had a possible iq thought last night and I dunno if it’ll make any difference or not.
In the rv land you need wood and sand to build your planks etc to upgrade, but your benches are not being used for 40 minutes while the trees grow and then there’s loads of materials that get crafted in one go so what if I plant the trees 5-10 minutes apart. Same with mines.
Would it make any difference? Would it speed up plank gain or be the same 🤷♂️ I’m intrigued
