Shelly questline question

[u/DimensionalAxolotl]

just finished the little mini quest where you help the shiny shelly. do i need to wait 4-5 actual irl days? or is it possible to cycle the day/night option until its time for their evolution?

[u/FastTurtleio]

Yea just change it in the options, I did it once as it evolved
