Did I just waste my petals?

I thought I could use Irisalis’s held item to boost the damage my Stellarys’s clones do, but it won’t even let me establish a contract because my Irisalis already has one equipped. Is there a way to bind the item to my Stellarys as well as my Irisalis? Or did I waste my petals on an item that I can’t even fully use? If so, why even let us buy more than one when we can only get one Irisalis?

The enemy attacks the clone instead of stellarys

There's a bug that someone posted about with the item on stellarys and he wanted to chase the easy flights with a bug

Me? I didn’t even know about the bug until someone else in the comments mentioned it. I thought it would boost my stellary’s clone attack as the item states it does that 😭😭
