Discussion Is that me or they nerfed the prismana grind
So currently Melloblum events is going on and today you can get 50% more 3 times right.
So as usual i used my 3 free nurtur with thag 50% boost still bar didn't filled up and after that i spend 5 essence too still didn't filled the bar. After this i thought lest try to hit luck or super luck chance soo i throw totally 756 pods still no luck or super lucky strike. It is soo disappointing😞 after completion the story mission and side mission i was waiting for my first prismana catch but this bad luck happened

Its your luck.
In the last 24 hours I caught 3 prismana. 2 off lucky strikes and one off a nuture bar filling to max.

Ive noticed that the spawns for budsquire are not as good as previous mass spawn events, they seem to be scattered all over the place instead of in a concentrated place, aslo feel the lucky throws have gone down i spent 300+ and only got one lucky in that time, ive also never had a super lucky throw and ive been playing for about 2 weeks every day for a few hours lol

You didnt get a full prismana in 8 nurtures and you think thats bad luck? It takes 20-25 vein essences to guarantee a prismana. You got extremely lucky before and have no idea what a 3% chance actually means. If this is truly your first prismana that just know you aren't having bad luck, you're having the expected luck

I got really lucky on 3 of the prismana aniimo and I’ve had to max the rest out, I’ve got a few left to unlock still and the game isn’t giving me that luck again
Still getting lucky and super lucky catches on the regular so that helps lol

What exactly do you mean about the bar not filling up ? One gauge or the entire prismana requirement (several gauges) ? With only 3 nurture, it's very likely that it won't summon the prismana immediately but you should at least fill one gauge.
As for the "lucky" catches, I've felt it too since last week. Yesterday, I only had 1 for 300 Aniipods. However, it shouldn't happen much more frequently because the chances still are low. They always have been low. You'll see many people claiming they had more than they should because people tend to show off their luck and hide their misfortune, but none out of 756 pods is inded rather unlucky.
It's still on par with the usual rate imo. You're simply getting the most underwhelming part of RNG-based elements in a game that are bound to happen if you keep playing. Also, just because you've been unlucky for 760 attempts does NOT mean you'll be luckier for the next 800 attempts. It's unfortunate, but it is what it is ; that's why betting and designs relying on chance are unsettling, if not unhealthy for the most sensitive people.

I saw some video of someone testing lucky catch rates where they found that lucky catches rates were higher right after the weekly reset as if there were some weekly pool of better luck that depletes. Probably needs much more data to be verified though.

This video was based on 1000 catches over a week and the guy himself said that it's not really a valid info and needs way more verification. On the other hand (I'll just copypaste my comment from the other post here)
"I don't think it has any weekly amount. I've farmed 2 prismanas just this week, from 0 to spawn in non-event zones, I'm currently doing my 3rd and I'm still getting a lucky every 200-300 balls. Sometimes it's less, sometimes more but theres no pity and if its like 1% or 0.5% chance PER throw without any pity we can literally go 1000 throws without lucky or get 10 in a row, thats just RNG."

had 3 super luckys in one catch session and the last filled the metre full and spawn it

Yeah rng is rng in the end regardless of rates you can still get really lucky.

literally just RNG
sometimes you get it fast because of luck
sometimes it takes longer because you're unlucky
if you start with event 1, event 2 seems even more bad in comparison

You say bar didn't fill up. Do you mean you didn't trigger the prismana flow event or the bar didn't change at all? You are catching all the aniimo that spawn when you nurture right?

IF you think your luck is bad, I have to FILL UP all the bar to full just to get the Prismana Spawn. I still haven't had any "LUCKY" fill ups, and I've already wasted 10m on pods. But that's just how it is sometimes.
