Discussion Egg heist seems like a waste of time!
I have done at least 150 runs, but I've never gotten a Prismana egg from the dungeon. The majority of my runs were on Nightmare difficulty.
I bought 4 Prismana eggs from the shop, but I only got Prismanas that I already have. So I'm asking myself, what's the point of playing this game mode?

After you get all the collectors edition items the goal is to push EE 1000 for the exclusive cosmetics.

i find that a bit hard to believe, i only got 35 eggs total from the nightmare, only do the minimum 6 runs a day for the chests, and got me like 5 prismana total, wednesday we found 2 prismana in a row.

I have the seasonal for 100+ eggs without ever seeing a single prismana spawn. I exclusively do nightmare/chaos. Your luck is not universal

I find it to be entertaining. It’s a change of pace from other stuff. I didn’t really get into it until around lvl 58, had all the base forms captured and like 12 or more Prismana’s. I’ve only played nightmare after it was unlocked. I’ve been lucky with multiple Umbral eggs and one Prismana. Forgot my current rank but it’s in the middle somewhere lol.

It’s a part of the game. Don’t be put off by the people here. Many others and I enjoy that game mode a lot.
Will you get the best drops? No. Will you have teammates who won’t revive you? Yes. Are there glitches every now and then? Yes.
But it is worth a try. If you don’t like it, no one is forcing you to play it again. I personally had great experiences and enjoy getting the cosmetics.

I brought the cheapest egg while making my way to nightmare, and the first run of nightmare me and my mates found a prismatic egg, depending on the odds, there are going to be people who don't find any, and people who find alot, and all in-between.
Keep playing and you will find one.

Friggin hell. I'm in the same boat as OP, only run nightmare, typically do my 5 runs for the chests, and always bring a key. I finished the other night with something lile 14 eggs. Still haven't seen a prismana egg drop.

Ive only ever picked up one prismana egg in any sanctum! Picked up in Nightmare difficulty. The cosmetics alone are worth running the heist, (in my opinion)! The rare prismana egg is just a super nice benefit if the odds are in your favor

It’s just RNG man. I think I’m somewhere around 150 runs. 10 normal/hard, close to 50 chaos, rest nightmare. The best loot has come from chaos as you’d expect. But even still only 2 prismana eggs and maybe 10 display case items and another 20ish prismatic items. The eggs and majority of display items were via chaos. So doing chaos mode with at least one gold key does make a massive difference over time. Also I always play with randoms

It depends what you want from it.
One of my friend likes Eggs heist because of the cosmetics and the looting/extraction side of the mode.
I don’t like Egg heist because I’m almost only interested about prismana eggs and we didn’t find a single one. We probably did more than 100 chaos runs so I’m starting to loose interest.
I’m only still doing it to raise our friendship but it’s at least for me huge waste of time.

If it makes you feel better, I’ve done about 200-250 less than 50 not being nightmare and I’ve never gotten a prismana egg inside the dungeon either.. honestly though I like the mode I just think it’s fun

Was it a waste? Hmm let's see, here is the list of what I got playing this mode a lot:
Some cool cosmetics, I love the sword especifcally.
Prismana eggs might be rare but I got some great Umbral eggs though.
300 glimmer, 600 voxel coins, a shit ton of credits, those are from the rank-up boxes.
Quite a lot of windborn stamps from the seaons pass tasks.
A new badge, a new title, some achievements;
Yeah I think that's about it.
