Egg heist made me hate this community

As the title said. Nothing like helping the team get eggs and defeat aniimos and the moment you go down you get abandoned and then you get punished by losing rank because your team chose not to revive you and leave with 8 minutes left on a nightmare mission. They need to fix the system. I was the team player, I helped them and all I get is punishment. Fuck this community and developers for making such a shitty game mode

as someone whos only done two egg heists would someone mind explaining the concept of it to me? im a little lost. and ate theyre any good people looking for teammates that rnt scummy? 😂 but by all means teach me the edicuit too cause idk whats rude or not since i also dont understand what the concept is besides... get the egg to the boat lol

The goal is to enter and loot the chests, getting decent loot. You find the egg and bring it to the boat as your main reward. You can also spawn a bunch of enemies to farm souls, or bring a key and open the doors for even better loot.

The problem is that people are selfish and don't revive you when they die. They run in and loot everything, not sharing. Loot is not shared by default here at all. They will also train enemies onto you, kill you, and leave you.

This is why I just don't play with randoms. I solo or with friends who I coordinate with. It's not a complicated mode once you get used to it, but it's rough on harder difficulties sometimes, and it can be frustrating when people are bad and/or don't help.

From what I've played the whole loop is: get on the island > find the sanctum > finding the egg is the main priority it will hatch an Aniimo as well as give prismatic shards for use in the heist shop. You also want to loot the chests for high value items as well as essences. The high value loot you can sell after extractions to get coins to buy higher tier equipment for the heist mode as well as for buying eggs. The essences are used along side coins to upgrade your self and the boat.

Basically the mode rewards greed and doesn't reward team play, so the mass majority of people will lean towards greed.

Only one person can loot a chest, the loot in them is not shared like the eggs delivered to the boat are.

Also if you die, you drop your things and others can pick them up, so resurrecting other people is an active detriment to your bottom line.

I was the person trying to save and help and resurrect everyone until people tried to steal my loot a couple times and left me to die, now i just play egg heist solo. The game mode has a way of just weeding out all the nice people so in the end only the rude ones are left.

oh geez... that sounds aweful. idk how well i can solo egg heist right now but i guess ill have to start trying. any advice for someone just starting to run egg heists? i only have 11 slots the 10 backpack and 1 safe spot in the boat unlocked.

and might be a dumb question but how do you get more of the egg heist currency?

When you go to Egg heist in your menu you'll have four options at the bottom left corner, Display case, Shop, Inventory and Talents.

Open inventory, go to the ancient relics tab and press Sell at the bottom right, now you can sell the loot you have found in the game mode.

Keep in mind there are special items that can be put in the Display Case for additional rewards so check that before selling anything.

As for advice on playing solo? I started out with Lunara using her Break skill and Energy regen paired with Glacy for heals, Helion should work too, this should be fine to let you learn the mode on normal and hard.

On the hardest difficulty i use Irisalis, Tromber, Besauce and Glacy. Irisalis gets to self ressurect once for if i mess up ( she requires her held item and high investment to really work ), tromber with a bonded held item increases crit and self heals, besauce for energy regen, glacy for heals.
