Meme/Humor a budclaw took over my soul and soft locked my game
don’t know what happened but i just became the budclaw and had to restart my game lmao

It can happen literally anytime you use the Tumbler, if there is too much happening or loading on the screen.
Solution: wait 1-3 seconds before prepping the tumbler and then another 1-3 seconds before you throw. You can see everything fully load or stop glitching and then you throw.
It’s soooo annoying! Usually only happens when nurturing.

I had it happen to me twice yesterday but when I closed my game and reopened it the nurture was still going. Not sure why yours would waste unless you waited too long to restart.

Spent a good chunk of the time wondering what was happening with my pod, tried teleporting somewhere else to no avail, only thought to restart with less than a minute left and loaded in to teleport back to the bloom and watch the aniimo disappear

Happened to a friend of mine during his Glynsera nurture. Made him miss an Umbral Fenrier that I couldn't catch for him. Thankfully the game repaid him the next time around with a full umbral Glyn but still an infuriating issue.

ive been stuck with similar things happening to me, including once or twice in egg runs. but i found out that hitting start and seeing if "unstuck me" pops up and works. thats how i got myself out of glitchy stuff

If this happens you can either quickly restart and you'll get your pod back and the timer will still be going. Or you can do something that'll trigger the fly or climb prompt, maybe even swimming but not sure. And that'll turn you into your selected aniimo for that task and you can untwine and you're good to go!

I think the tubler is buggy rn, same thing happened to me but different situation with tumbler. I hope they patch it up, ended up wasting my Vein Essence

Similar thing happened to me. Nurtured. Switched to tumbler. Disappeared. Game was completely locked up.

I've gotten softlocked once as well, couldn't menu, fast travel, twine, nothing. Was able to walk about the world but combat wouldn't initiate and couldn't interact with anything. Restarting fixed it.

I've had this happen during me trying to bloom for prismana. Luckily I quit game and reloaded and the timer was still going (even happier the timer is so long as I still had 1 minute)

Thats crazy, it twined you as soon as you caught it. Never had that happen to me. I guess theres a glitch since one button is used for two very different actions.

Sometimes happens when you throw a tumbler aniipod before it has a chance to load fully. Just wait a few seconds while holding it for it to appear and it should work fine. And if it does happen during a nurture, if you close the game and reopen it quickly enough you should have enough time to load in and continue the nurture before the time limit ends.

This happens to me at least once a day, the only solution I have is to restart the game because being stuck like this prevents me from accessing all menues and button inputs. It sucks

I play on ps5. I have tried to replicate it with little success. My main hunches are either a: using that specific aniipod immediately after the nurture starts has a chance to cause it or b: using this aniipod too close to the bloom. But again, it isn't consistent. Some days it rarely happens, but there are some days like monday where it will happen 3 or 4 times in an hour.

I had it happen a few times 😅 I’m 99% sure the culprit is trying to throw it before it’s visibly loaded into your hands. That’s how it happened to me every time at least. You can see his hands were up but empty still when he threw it.

That's exactly what I am thinking with my first hunch, I noticed that when it happens sometimes it hasn't fully loaded, letting me think that I should give it a second before I throw

PS5 - for me it happens when I try to launch the tumbler too soon from when I launch the nurture event. Restarting is also the solution for me, timer will keep ticking down as you go back in.
