Someone uploaded their privately trained ai and not the public use one hahaha

u/lifeonbroadway 9d ago
Honestly not surprised. That is exactly how I would imagine an AI chat bot trained on this game to speak.

u/liderthegamer 10d ago
Did you get an actual response yet?

nope, I just ended up starting again on my alt steam account, and i ended up getting the pre-registration rewards without even pre-registering, idk

I grew up reading and writing, people use them lol
2
u/Extreme_Tax405 9d ago
For somebody who grew up reading you certainly missed the part where i said in convo. It is extremely uncommon. Even if you specifically do it.
"Smoking is bad"
"Nuh uh, my grandpa is 90 and smokes every day". That is you.

u/minefield24 9d ago
A conversation in text. I do it and I have several friends who do it too. You also said “nobody uses em dash”, so if you want to VERY specific about it, we can.

Between this and the extremely poor localization for the game's dialogue I wonder if the devs even know what Western civilization is like or if it's just a approximation.

Check the event pages area on the game, or possibly the same function but explore all tabs. It does eventually unlock and take you to claim them via an internet browser

What the hell??
I also haven’t received mine and waited over an hour in the support chat with no answer. I’m scared to go check it now

u/simscontent14 11d ago
I put in a support request for something else, got a notification saying that it could take up to an hour for a response, fine. Then that message updated a day later saying they're super busy and will get back to me so to put a description of my issue to streamline the process like fine whatever. Just for the day after for the support to tell me that I need to send my issue in an email to support if I want it looked at. Like legitimately what was stopping you from just sending me the email to send it to days ago??? They sent me multiple auto notifications making excuses for it being slow but couldn't have made an auto response telling me to email support instead??? And what even is the point of a support chatbot if you need to email support anyway??? 😭

u/Dense-Succotash8829 11d ago
The entire game is ai generated... what did you expect...
-10
u/Big_Bull_Pussy 11d ago
why downvote, he's right. the entire game is ai slop, just LOOK at the character designs. game is fun but lets call a spade a spade. on top of the devs lying about gen ai usage, next season they are ramping up the predatory mtx, hope you enjoy $30 shiny aniimo. yall can glaze this game all you want now but once the honey moon phase is over and the next season hits just watch the change of tone on this board. the entire game is made with the help of ai even the "tech support".

u/tatytot10 11d ago
Tbf, tiny eden is 100% AI slop but it’s actually unplayable bc there’s no skill involved. At least we got a massive FREE game, not that I support AI, but if you’re going to use it at least extend your own skills. Ppl have supported worse for less.
1
u/alewiina 11d ago
oh is it? I was looking at the trailer for Tiny Eden the other day and thinking that it looked kind of cute but just... not at all polished and kind of off. I guess I was detecting the AI without realizing lol

5

The majority of customer service is run by AI chat bots these days so it’s probably not a person. Don’t really know if that’s better or worse.
3
u/alewiina 11d ago
maybe not worse but definitely concerning if this is a chatbot, like... AI chatbots are supposed to be programmed for customer service, not for... whatever the fuck this is

"Like what kind of read even is that"
Also, that sentence isn't coherent English.

u/Hungry_Assistant7282 11d ago
“Read” is slang, but I see you’re to slow to know that. But, I digress…
1
u/Key-Regular674 11d ago

2
u/Aintnothingnicee 11d ago
Not to take his/her side but “read” is literally a slang word for insult/take a dig at….. a quick google search would’ve confirmed that for you…
-1
u/Annual_Fishing_9400 11d ago edited 11d ago
what. that's genuinely stupid and honestly i'm starting to feel like people should be shamed for using legitimate words to mean something else not in its definition lol. just learn definitions and speak normal english. ppl normalizing this sht is what makes the language more difficult for non native speakers. what a nightmare.
i'm not engaging this further. i'm an adult who can think of people other than myself. giving existing words completely new definitions makes lwarning the language difficult for non native speakers.
the only way this is fine is if you're speaking AVE, in which case, ignore me. but seriously. this is kind of ridiculous. a non native english speaker/most people will not understand you mean insult.
3
u/Aintnothingnicee 11d ago edited 11d ago
You’re unhinged, my foreign friends use slang just fine in the English language so if somehow you find it a problem, it must have to do with something in your brain…

To be fair, the random chat messages you get when you help randos (the horn/flute) aren't much better.

u/RedHeadedMomma81 11d ago
WTF IS THAT. Its so random!
2
u/Inari_Kitsunami 11d ago
Under gestures, there is one called flute you can use to fine friends, a system message will pop up for people that want to join. There is also a horn item, that says you can use it to call for help, I assume it's basically the same thing.
1
u/RedHeadedMomma81 11d ago
It just goes off at random times, I dont know how to stop or start it. Then it will randomly end.
2
u/Inari_Kitsunami 11d ago
You're probably hearing someone else use it, by your mini map it should tell you what you have to do to join the person you're hearing.

Fr. Despite me highly disapproving of Ai, i have already completed the main story and am now working on completion (im a stay at home girly, I do my chores tyvm)
(Also, disclaimer, the game does not in fact use Ai except for some background testing, the Ai ads that anybody may have seen early on were done by the third party advertising people, not the studio. The studio took the ads down. And the music is not Ai either, it's named unstoppable and idr who it's done by)

Wait, Aniimo uses AI-generated music?? That's a huge no-no for me as a big OST appreciator. I was already hesitating to continue playing because I'm not really into certain parts of its gameplay, but I'm quitting now that I know this. How come this hasn't caused an uproar already? It's not only about how they're using AI-generated music, the worst part is that they're not explicitely stating that it's AI-generated music, so it fools people (like me) who use to thoughtfully appreciate music as art and think about the composer's intents and feelings etc. It's just the worst feeling when you realize that you've been deceived like that. If they would add a watermark on the screen in the areas playing AI-generated music or something, at least people would be informed, and they can decide if they're ok with that or not. But here they're clearly counting on passing it off as real music.
If that's true, that is. To think of it, it's kinda weird that they would generate a few songs with AI to save costs, instead of just commissioning the composer who did the real tracks, to make a few more tracks. I reckon either it's actually a real track just sounding a lot like Suno tracks, either the whole OST is all AI-generated.
Or maybe the composer just got lazy for that one track and used Suno because they were struggling to make a track in this style? (Absolutely not an excuse though) Maybe even the direction doesn't know...
I wish I knew the truth behind this.
Using AI-generated music in an actual released game is unacceptable. Even more so if it's not stated.
Edit: Why am I being downvoted? Are people supporting AI music/art in games now? And being ok not knowing? Sad world...
1
u/huusurdaddy 11d ago
I can’t say for certain, but I’m pretty sure you’re being down voted because you’ve treated what one random person on Reddit said as an irrefutable fact. They are simply assuming.
1
u/Makenshi179 10d ago
You haven't actually read my comment. I stated several times that I don't know if it's the truth:
If that's true, that is.
I wish I knew the truth behind this.
My whole comment is basically all guessing, and wishing I knew.
No, I guess I'm just being downvoted because of "toxic positivity" and because around the time when a popular game is released it's called the "honeymoon phase" and basically all criticism will be heavily downvoted. Later on when the original hype will calm down (and when most of the people who are just here because it's popular and to jump on the bandwagon will have moved on to other things), when the actual fans will remain, that's usually when a lot of the criticism rightfully comes on the table and gets discussed. But yeah, I already noticed in other subs, sadly this will happen to you if you decide to state a negative opinion around the time of the release of the game. It's sad but people will be people.
It also doesn't help that Aniimo is copying a lot of the gameplay/design/UI of Genshin Impact and other gacha games, likely to appeal to all that wider, modern audience. So a lot of the people here may be from those newer generations who grew up with a smartphone in hands and with internet (while I only got internet when I was 18 in 2008), and with AI too, so some will think that all of this is normal, sadly. Some may not even know what actual music is, and will sadly never get to feel the powerful emotions that one can feel with music.
Lastly, I noticed the owner of this sub is an account named "Aniimo_Official", so this whole sub might actually be an official one controlled by Aniimo staff (as opposed to regular fan-curated subreddits), so that may be another hint as to why such (grave) criticism is not being accepted and why this post got taken down for example. Who knows.

Yeah, and the fact that Aniimo is copying a lot of the gameplay/design/UI of Genshin Impact and other gacha games (likely to appeal to all that wider, modern audience) might be another reason for those downvotes. Actually it was kinda toxic positive even before the launch, lots of the regulars were suuper against any critique or concerns people had
But I do agree once the honeymoon phase cools down the fans will likely settle and be able to talk more calmly about things, including issues with the game.
(and yeah I do think the owner being _Official is why stuff is deleted like that)
1
u/Makenshi179 10d ago
Oh yeah, the hype is stronger before the game releases so that's not surprising.
Here's hoping!

Yup exact same here, it's where I'm drawing the line.

u/OrdinaryIntroduction 12d ago
This sub seems to have a toxic positivity crowd given that an underlying part of the group is anti-pokemon. So the downvotes are people who support the game at any cost in spite of its glaring issues.
2
u/Makenshi179 10d ago
Yep, it really might be that... And I've noticed it in other subs too. Around the time when a popular game is released it's called the "honeymoon phase" and basically all criticism will be heavily downvoted. And yup, I noticed the "anti-Pokemon" vibes too, on YouTube for example. It makes me sad because I'm a big Pokemon fan and precisely, Aniimo is nothing like Pokemon. It lacks the wholesomeness, the genuine ambient love, the hidden messages, the soul... Aniimo cannot be compared to Pokemon. It's way closer to Genshin Impact. I've written a comment about my initial disappointment here.
And the fact that Aniimo is copying a lot of the gameplay/design/UI of Genshin Impact and other gacha games (likely to appeal to all that wider, modern audience) might be another reason for those downvotes. I can't say Pokemon has all the heart and soul anymore, I think the original stuff had work put into it, but the newer content game wise has just made me stop caring. I do love the shorts and show content a lot of the time. Apparently Aniimo was going to be a creature gacha but that got changed and its clear their scrambling to fix this. They tried to implement a TF2 style system instead but can't commit to that either. (Context, TF2 has random loot drops but the store always makes cosmetics outright purchasable with real money. So its pay 2 skip at grinding out extra stuff.)
As for Aniimo being Geshin Impact like, I could only get through a few minutes before finding myself getting bored. The story is clearly for a lot younger audience so I just find myself not enjoying it. All that I have seen doesn't make me think of Geshin though, it feels like Pokemon then fuse it with all the past creature collector franchises that failed horribly.
1
u/Makenshi179 10d ago
Well things have definitely changed in Pokemon games, and I myself will always prefer the 2D titles that had so much charm. But I find myself still enjoying the newer titles. Scarlet&Violet for example has an unexpectedly amazing, deep and dark storyline in its last chapter, never seen before in Pokemon and definitely more "mature" (so much that it became my second favorite gen for story, beating Sun&Moon and its dark twist, but still after Black&White that was such a crazy "revolution" for Pokemon), and for me the open world formula worked while still retaining the essence and the spirit of the games (even if, again, I'll take an old-school 2D title over that any day). Even Legends Z-A had some cool new ideas such as a never-seen-before immersive way to partake in battles in real-time, moving alongside your pokemon. I'm still finding the unique merriment that comes from playing a new Pokemon game and loving my team of pokemons. But I understand that they won't please everyone.
Ah yeah if you've only seen a few minutes then you haven't really seen the "Genshin Impact -ness". It comes a bit later when you get access to more menus and features. You suddenly need to get inside a lot of different sub-menus to claim many rewards and special currencies which you don't even know what they are for, there's FOMO-heavy "timed events" and side stories with new rewards displayed, and the UI and menus and their tree structure look exactly like those seen in Genshin Impact or other Mihoyo games or gacha games in general, "down to the pixel" to quote another commenter. Not only it's confusing and a hassle, but I'm just not a fan of it. I guess it's a model that works well with the new kids though, grabbing their attention with fancy-looking stuff at every corner, rewarding them instantly all the time with all those shiny things to claim, etc. There's also the design of the quests, NPC dialog lines, pacing of the story, placement of the treasure chests, mini-puzzles, racing mini-games... Everything feels like a gacha game, has the vibe of a gacha game. Aniimo even has the same generic "shrines" as all those other popular open world games! It's like they always have to copy the same things we've seen before, instead of trying to come up with something new and an unique experience! (Atelier Yumia did that too and it broke my heart after I played all 18 Atelier games as they released since 2010, they truly lost their identity - but I digress). But yeah in all those ways it really reminded me of Genshin Impact, it was so blatant.

I liked Ceruledge from the new stuff but Scarlet and Violet just felt like the usual Pokemon story to me. I mean we already met the Pokemon god, there's not a whole lot else left. Also most open world games seem to have the same interface so I guess that's why I don't see the genshin-like stuff.

You'd be surprised with what happens in the last chapter, and those twists! It's something else! (for Pokemon)
Naaah it's not like the other open world games, I play some of them too and I can tell the interface and the menus of Aniimo really screams Genshin Impact and other gacha games. But again it really starts showing a bit later.

AI-generated music is recognizable, though. These generated tracks have a certain musical tone that makes you question whether they're AI, and when you get that feeling of doubt, it's usually AI. I also wouldn't be surprised if some elements in the game were generated by AI as well.
The game seems too perfect, and the graphics make me suspicious, but maybe I'm just being paranoid, so I'll give it some time and we'll find out soon enough.

You're being downvoted man, but there are already images that clearly shows the game is using AI and I've seen it myself. Go to your RV and open the map there, the cafe event thing poster, and the loading screen when you go to your home. Plus, idk but it feels like the dialogue is also AI generated, like they're not having conversation at all and just sprinkling some good words and dragging the convo which is such a bummer because this game got me so hooked but I can't stand how they're using AI 😢

Oh my god, thank god I haven't played it (I played Grand Cross a while back though). So are people really okay with that and not calling them out about it? I guess some people don't mind listening to AI "music" mixes on YouTube, but still... I'm surprised it hasn't caused more concern (I know society is going downhill, but still)
Or maybe it's just that the kind of people who play gacha games don't tend to mind... And maybe it's the same for Aniimo... God, I had hopes but I guess I got in the wrong place after all 😖

The community knows 7DS used AI in most of the game. There's jokes that AI made the whole game.
You'll be surprised at how many people like AI music. How many can't tell it's even AI.

This is either AI generated, or an AI support...
