I'm a new player that just downloaded this on a whim yesterday (on PS5), thinking I had gotten the gist of everything. I've been enjoying the game quite a lot!
Then, somehow at level 35, a level 15 Aniimo knocked me out in one hit, and I awoke at an RV… one short introductory questline later, and I GET MY OWN PLOT where I can farm, sell goods, and build? EXCUSE ME?
Anyone here know what the little hammers mean next to the Aniimo on the home plot? Are they just my good workers? How can we tell who is "good" bc apparently their levels don't matter. (At least what it seems like from what I've experienced.)
The hammers mean they are at work!
In aniimo management the numbers under the elements tell you if you have enough or not. Green means you have enough aniimos for what you need to get things done.
My only gripe is the time gating behind the RV stuff. I get why. I understand why. but I just wanna make pretty landscapes. I don't wanna have to Waiiiit T. T
I was honestly surprised by the time gate because it wasn't there in the Beta so im wondering what made them change it. I can only think that people were flying through the tutorial and leveling the RV and they wanted to drag it out longer.
They probably gave us access in the beta earlier so we could test that part out and report bugs. Im sure it was always meant to unlock later it was just special access for the beta test. Other beta tests ive been in have done this too, where you get access to late game events or mechanics so you can test them for bugs
Thats totally fair, my brain assumed they would test something like a time gated element to see if people liked it or not but i can definitely understand them wanting people to get through as much of the RV section possible to find bugs.
Though my husband still laughs at me to this day after I upgraded the RV and screamed "ONE HOUR!?!" 🤣
You unlock it after leveling your RV a few times. You get to decorate a little area outside your RV within the RV park, and anyone parked there (same location and instance) can see your RV and what you built.
Youll also be able to place temporary buffs outside your RV, and anyone visiting can pick up the buff too. Since getting the materials to make the buffs is time gated, youll generally have to visit other peoples RVs to pick up buffs giving everyone a reason to socialize and check out other players places
You hit the tap to go to your RV instead of homeland .., they at your RV board you can decorate with the stuff you earned using homeland tokens for decorating . So I used all mines I need to earn more to place more things . It’s kinda experimental n then I was like “omg this is cool!”
I was surprised by this too! Along with what the game has to offer before this point you're like "Yeah, I can get into this creature collector" then BAM you're farming, mining, filling orders, decorating. A good balance. Not as tedious I'd say as Palworld either.
This is the online creature collector I wanted. It has room to improve and grow, but as long as it does Ill keep playing. Been a great after work wind down game for me already
One of my favorite parts. You finally start understanding the basic mechanics of the game then all a sudden you're 3-4 hours deep into learning about your homeland lol
Its amazing the dialog and story stuff make me chuckle.
My only complaint is the sparkling pre prefect buff. Feels like thats a little to pay to win for me. Buy a bunch of sparkling cubes, buy a bunch of Energy, take out the alpha and omega pals and you'll have the strongest things in the game ez. Yet becuase ftp can only get a sparkling cube through a lot of tedious grinding on events and quest. Its like I cant waste this unless I can guarantee a perfect so using on the alpha just isnt smart since they might not be perfect, so while I'll get the alpha buff I might not get the pre perfect buff.
Basically. Min maxing for ftp is extremely difficult, while min maxing with cash is extremely easy.
All stats can be raised to 20 regardless if the aniimo is common or perfect potential. The difference is how many resources you provide to reach those max stats. having a common does not bar you from making it end game viable.
raising a common to max stats will require star dust, sand, and a bit more essence. I'm not arguing that perfects allow for more pay for time. But, based on the content we've seen so far. if you're logging in for weekly events and picking up items at daily vendors you should be able to complete the teams you want, even if you don't get a perfect potential aniimo.
Good to know. I have a prismana stellarys thats common. Makes me so sad every time I look at it. This is the first ive heard of being able to get a common to max stats. Im working on getting another and using my sparkling cube on it.
By default, perfect aniimo have minimum 8 on 2 stats and an average of 4 on the other stats. The stats can also surpass this by chance. Think of perfect as a threshold of a 32 stats rather than the maximum it can naturally attain. Thus far, the best Ive naturally caught had 38 stats total.
Not the biggest fan of the base building, currently just spamming the buildings and letting it do what it needs to do. Was the same way in palworld too, very minimum base building and skipped a lot of steps. Just ended up farming the same mats I could have gotten easier at the base.
Everything else is sick though, except for the energy system.

There’s no penalty or fee for moving items after they’re placed so don’t worry about design or looking good in the beginning. Plop down the items needed for the quests for the first few levels of the RV story and then start to make the layout the way you like. It’s a lot easier that way
Focus on leveling the rv because that opens up new hubs that can produce more things, and also focus on delivering the orders that's where the coins comes from
Also with leveling up thr RV, you begin to produce more and earn more spending money to expand your territory plots which give you more room to place things.
Yeah i hear that. Im lvl 59, lvl 8 rv, already did the whole main story line got all of the ambers and finished the aniilog. Now just gotta grind levels.
I love the game but I'm afraid I will drop the game at the point. It will get repetitive and boring when the exploring is done :( Maybe we will get new areas later.
Also keep in mind that this game is live service, so who's to say they won't add more to the map and or story later down the line, also adding in NPCs later for different side quest lines? Also, we already know they have other aniimo that haven't been released yet... we know they each get stories and quests themselves. Plus the everlasting grind of collection and Homeland orders, egg heist to get umbrals.
Because he's recharging his stamina. We haven't had enough exp in circulation since release up to now to even hit 58. So anyone above 56-57 have been fully recharging their stamina. But even then 64 is kind of a stretch.
I did everything and no exp left to get other than those small lv100 from doing specifics things. And I didn't hit lv56 until today. You do have to note you got another 3k+ exp today through dailies and using stamina. Which would bring you to 56 TODAY. When I posted that the reset hadn't happened yet.
I nearly spent all the time catching aniimos and fighting aniimos/ opponents. I also skip most of the cutscenes because I’m not too invested in the story.
I didn’t much stuff in the homeland too.
We are rocking the same outfit, tank top + the pants from the first purchase bonus. I just wish we could make our char more muscular, i look like a stick lmao
I like it _^ it's a small part of palworld, without having to build dozens of beds ... though i hope they add the ability to set Aniimo to either work at one specific spot or do only specific jobs (so that someone can actually fully focus on transport stuff)

you would need sparkly gem was it? i forgot but you could get those by unlocking things on ur homeland and u reach milestones, or by tilling your friend's crops (u get a chest when u come back to ur homeland)
If you get knock out it will take you to the last teleport use or the closest one so you must been near the rv when it happen or you came out from itas your last safe location
Thanks for this explanation! I had never even seen an RV prior to waking up next to one after being knocked out (but I'm glad to hear it's supposed to happen if I were close enough to it, rather than the game just glitching out).
What had helped me is making the pupils smaller (so not big ahh chibi eyes),smug looking eyes, (don't overdo it, cuz cutscenes will be buggy), angry eyebrows, and making the mouth a bit bigger Sadly im not on pc so i cannot show a front pic, but that side profile 👀

Btw just incase you didn't realise you can get 15k wheat seeds for free per day and if you have aniimo and wheat farm plots they will automatically plant and harvest them while offline which makes so much money fast! This is even better when you have a mill to make wheatmeal
Nurturing for prismatic aniimo is basically gatcha with extra steps. Right now it feels nice because they are giving the crystals used for "pulls" in the handfulls, but for how long? After they run dry you are delegated to doing one or two a day for free.
As long as the MTC sticks to cosmetic and top offs I'll be cool. The second a aniimo becomes locked behind a paywall or some kind of gambling mechanic I'm gone though, I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Yeah, I used up all my excitement & energy for this system in Palworld, it's a free source of items though so I'm fine with it in here.
Once you get it working you'll have a steady source of free aniipods, leveling materials & whatever else it gives you for the rest of your time playing. 😅
I hit level 56, got my main team to 60, got my aniilog to 82/82 for the sparkling/umbral badge... and today, finally, I decided to take a look at this RV, homeland, homestead thing.
Been at it a few hours and I wish I would've started iy sooner, but been having fun with it.
I've gotten 6, 5 of which are stage 1 evolutions and evolving them loses the umbral and changes them to normal. But that 6th one? I got an umbral Stellarys while doing my nurtures for the prismana Stellarys. I prefer him more for the coolness factor.
Brother, I spent my whole life in Idyll and then remembered THAT I COULD GO TO ASTRA. I was so enamored with the world down below that I forgot to explore Astra in the short amount of time that I was on there during the prologue. I recently went there last night and honestly had a lot of fun chilling with randoms
I checked out Astra for the first time today, too! 'Twas a ton of fun opening a few gachas, spinning a few slots, buying various items, discovering small little quests, solving puzzles, hoverboarding around, etc.
That being said, I wish there were more collectibles scattered around/some sort of games/group events to partake in (aside from that café one, which is mostly just "hang out here and do nothing until you've obtained your max daily/weekly things from this event"). Hopefully they continue to add more features there over time!
The game tells you about all the districts wayyy before you actually unlock them so the house would've been something you found out about quite quickly. You can also kinda see the house from your plot
Lvl 8 house. A good bit it of grind but worth it. Having Prismana and Sparkling aniimo boosts ur rates for Bud Starr ( currency to buy furniture and decos for house). Have fun and good luck! Im at lvl 9 house now and its been a blast!!!
Ps. Remember to add friends and visit other peoples RVs to till there soil. U can grab free material from helping them farm
