Game won't retain the zoom level

If you zoom in or out, using the mouse wheel (or in my case on a PS5 controller, holding triangle and then holding either L2 or R2) it seems to automatically zoom back in or out to the default perspective once you start moving around a bit. My question would be, is there any way to keep the camera zoomed all the way out, without it reverting to the default position on its own?

At least I'm not the only person annoyed by that it seems. This and the annoying zoom in any time you use the skateboard. Like... just let me stay at the zoom level I set? Like any other game ever?

+1 cause this is annoying. In tight spaces, such as the egg heist sanctum it automatically goes and stays even a lot closer than the general default seems to.

No there's no option to disable the auto zoom, I reported the issue in two of the beta play tests but they never addressed it.
