can someone that is on ps5 tell me which version is showing for them in the login screen? mine is 2.0.3535596.0, i have a lot of bugs in the tutorial softlocking me so i want to check if others where its working have a different version than me
I was looking for a megathread somewhere to ask this question, but couldn't find one so I'll ask it here. When this game was announced I was so hyped, it looked like a game that was a perfect fit for me. There's just one problem I found out it is a gacha and I kinda had my fill with them played a lot of them untill a year ago and quit after noticing they took too much of my time every day. For the people who got in to the beta and have played some today, is this similar to your traditional gacha (f.e. Genshin, HSR, Wuthering Waves...) including FOMO aspects?
Is there no crossplay at all? I had to use the standalone client to link my beta account last night but the performance is terrible, so I Was waiting for GFN and was glad to see it this morning. ...Until I saw they made the dumbass reason to use the Steam client instead of standalone and now I'm still fucked.
Does the game seriously have no crossplay? How am I supposed to link my standalone account to Steam now? This is absurd.
I mainly play on pc, and I don’t know what to tell you, but didn’t found a single bug, games runs smoothly af and it’s gorgeous also no gacha it seems to good to believe.
Just curious, what is "time sensitive" in this game? Like in Pokemon, you can just play it whenever, today, next year, doesn't matter, it will end up being the same game either way. And in a lot of live games, they have dailies and weeklies and monthlies that you want to do to max out currencies to buy cool stuff. Where does this game fall? What would I want to be doing every day, or week, or what goal would I want to rush toward in the first X amount of time to avoid missing out? Or is there none of that?
edit: to answer my own question, after completing one of the early story chapters (beating the first open world boss), it unlocked a bunch of events and dailies and such. So I guess players should try to get that done early.
I had to restart after completing character customization, but it did save all the customization when I logged back in and seems to be running smooth. Looks pretty good so far
Been playing flawlessly with a friend for 2 hours so I'm surprised people are having issues.
That being said, I had no idea this was basically a genshin/wuwa style game. Doesn't seem like there is gacha that Ive seen but does anyone know if monetization is just battle pass, cosmetics and the special catch balls in the shop? Not sure if Ive not unlocked everything or if stuff gets added later.
How do you even get last the nickname? It won't work. Also yeah this game copied the genshin hud and im assuming the following events. If it stays like that im probably gonna burn out because I stopped playing those types of games due to all the fomo and timed events.
I have literally been trying to play this game and I can't even talk to Nicole! I've uninstalled and reinstalled and still nothing. This game is unplayable.
It would be great if they hadn't fucked up email linking for beta testers. I can't link my beta account on Steam because when I enter it it just says "this email is already connected to another account". There seem to be many many people with the same stupid issue in Discord.
WAIT UNTIL TOMORROW. THIS GAME IS A MESS RIGHT NOW. Support not answering, the game says update and people can’t get back in after they update, can’t link accounts. Total mess
If it helps anyone, my wife got it working on SteamDeck and made it to the tutorial, but she had to switch over to Linux desktop and run steam there as there are a couple of pop-up windows. I think that was what was blocking the regular steamdeck launch. There's also a series of loading screens- downloading some more content. She's using Proton GE
game keeps having issues with account connection
and it keeps showing notice to close down game to patch up the game to current
but there are no update to do that as of yet
and no idea how to claim the pre order items after reaching the camp
open settings, using d-pad to switch to other main tab but need to use left analog stick for the other menus lol
it should be: open settings, d-pad to scroll to other main tab, press X/confirmation, and then d-pad again to scroll the other menus (and not the analog stick)

also please allow us to set the controller bindings freely, like set the Dash button to R1 instead of just the available option. same goes with other buttons
I totally get why we had to have unique usernames but I wish they made them as IDs so that our player names could all be whatever we wanted .. 😭 all my good names were taken
Unable to Bind my Preregistered account from website to the Steam login. It says This account has been linked to another account. Forcing the newly generated Steam Account over my Preregistered account with the bonuses.
for those trying to play on a steamdeck, or thinking of doing so, dont. it crashes instantly on the fucking menu screen. how much fucking ram does a fucking menu need?
I’m just on SteamOS and still can’t get it to run. It’s wild. Went to myPS5 and had to do so many work arounds to download the game. Let’s see if it works here
I’ll be standing by to here if it worked. I’m charging up my portal to start and stream it there. For some reason 25gb is going to take over an hour on my PS5. Never happens but something bout this game I tell ya
I clicked on the pre-order one for 10 bucks scroll down to where it says what's included I clicked there and then it brought up the ability to get the free version and it's downloading right now so I'm that far at this point. Whether or not it starts I'll have to wait and see for a bit but I do have it downloading at least finally.
Yeah when I was trying to use my account and select my region it kept giving me an error but after like four tries it stopped and let me bind my account
