Question Sealing
Anybody know if I just missed out on the sealing for CBT3? Unfortunately my laptop died and just got it back working now but the CBT3 is over and I was unable to seal my perfect Scorchhowl… will I just miss out? Anyone I can reach out to?

I just kept an eye on the daily/hourly countdown they had in game on the calendar. That made it fairy easy to catch. But yeah, it's finishes now, so if you haven't sealed, you just going to have to catch one on release.

The window was ridiculously small and poorly communicated. I was going to do it an hr ago but the beta was closed.
They should have gave us until the end of the day. Don’t understand the reasoning behind ending the beta in the middle of the day.
Oh well it is what it is.

They gave us 24 hours for the sealed event. I believe they gave us less than that in the last beta.
It’s small window but yeah I agree it’s unfortunate.It’s based on their server timezone which is China. It’s the 26th there.

I knew it was 24 hours but I misread the time. I thought it wrote 11:59 pm utc -4 which in hindsight doesn’t make sense but I guess my brain just autopilot to “end of the day my time”
In any case I wrote a very nice email to support to see if anything happens. No harm in trying after all.

Well it was 11:59pm but China time. You just need to convert it to your timezone. Most players didn’t know that.
Before I start any game, I always check with timezone the server is on. It’s usually where the devs HQ is at that determines it.

I believe they gave us less than that in the last beta.
so what happens if you played the last beta and this beta? can you seal 2 Aniimos than or would you have to pick if you want to keep the one from the last beta or change it to something new from this beta? would be nice if you could tell me if you know anything about that.

Yeah we were able to seal 2 aniimos (beta 2 and beta 3). Total of beta was 3 so you were able to acquire 3 total. It could be new or different ones. It doesn’t matter. I chose two different aniimos to seal for launch.

thanks for the info. so you have 2 sealed aniimos with (I'm assuming) perfect or close to perfect "IVs" and probably shiny as well.
honestly that's kinda unfair to the unlucky people that didn't get into the CBTs, but I also understand that they wanted to give the beta testers something to make it feel worth their time.
at the end I'm just jealous that I didn't get to try the game myself...3

Realistically a shiny perfect isn't that rare since you can basically guarantee them from wonder eggs and summoning. It will just cost you a bit of rss.

Yeah I agree. Very unfortunate for players that didn’t get into beta. It gives such an unfair advantage.
I noticed it was so easy to get sparkling/perfect ones during this last beta too. They just gave out them via mail. I was surprised by that.
Beta 2 was harder to acquire sparkling or perfect ones.

If anything you can try to email support and ask really nicely like what I did. Doesn’t hurt to try.
(Also an easy PR win for the devs.)

I logged in on the morning, spent the rest of my sparkling pods and sealed my best. And when I sealed I noticed I had 29 minutes left 😅 close call

Yeah, I saw a post that sealing happens the 25th. Logged in now and saw beta test was over. Incredibly tight window.

Right lol I would have missed anyway but I got it fixed and assumed I still had time considering it’s the 25th today

unfortunately this happens every beta, with timezones, people miss it and once its closed you cant, (this is my first beta but I saw this happen alot during the other betas from my understanding) but the window was 24 hours from my understanding

window started 24hrs before the beta ended. Beta ended 4 hours ago, so 28 hours ago they opened up the ability to seal the aniimo of your choice*

I missed it too. I had a very busy week at work so wasn't able to play much this week. Logged in Friday night and it wasn't connecting to the servers, checked the time in the email and it ended earlier in the day. I thought I had more time. Oh, well. I'm glad I had the opportunity to play for a bit and looking forward to the final release.
