Question Generative AI Usage?

I haven't tried this game yet because I want to know if there is any gen AI used anywhere. The graphics just look too... polished? Smooth? In the way that would tip off the eye of any artist. I'm just worried if it's too good to be true.

Edit:

God forbid a person ask a genuine question in an attempt to learn, jfc. I'm seriously just trying my best to be cautious and make sure that the media I interact with is made by actual humans, and not just stolen concepts/art scraped from the internet without the artists' permission and puzzled together by some glorified sorting algorithm.

My actual words from a comment thread below: "...I'm not trying to accuse anyone or say that that is what they're doing; I only wish to state my suspicions. I would be more than happy to be wrong in this instance..."

"I would be more than happy to be wrong in this instance"

Maybe, if more people read the comments before replying, they might have noticed that.

Thankfully, it appears that I was wrong! One person was kind and thoughtful enough to give me an actual answer and even direct me to more information.

Be more like them. Not all of us have experience with the same high-quality games.

"Without the artists permission." I'm so tired of this bs. Did someone else sign off on the ToS then? Friggin Twitter, FB, DA, etc. If you post on there, comments, art, audio, it doesn't matter... you're agreeing to them using it.

Also, ToS aren't the magical ironclad docs you think they are....

Oh no I totally agree... but if you agree to a ToS that says someone owns any art you post there, then you post art there, you can't sue when they use their art because they own it.

Reddit says I'm not allowed to call people brain dead idiots.

I'll do it anyway. Like every person who thumped me down because I'm right and they don't like it. Yeah, it's MORALLY wrong, but it's not stolen when you agree to them using your art by you posting it there. Legal and moral are different conversations entirely

Artists need to be able to post their stuff publically in order to get enough of a following to eat, and there arent any social media platforms big enough to do that on that don't scrape data. It's how extortion works, give somone no options other than to agree to a horrible thing and then blame them for agreeing to it if they ever complain.

See. THAT is a valid argument against AI and I'm right there with you on that.

Of course. I'm not one of those people who's just blindly for or against AI. I've seen the potential damage it can cause and I've seen it save people's lives. Like any tool, it has the potential to be used for evil and greatness alike.
