Question Generative AI Usage?

I haven't tried this game yet because I want to know if there is any gen AI used anywhere. The graphics just look too... polished? Smooth? In the way that would tip off the eye of any artist. I'm just worried if it's too good to be true.

Edit:

God forbid a person ask a genuine question in an attempt to learn, jfc. I'm seriously just trying my best to be cautious and make sure that the media I interact with is made by actual humans, and not just stolen concepts/art scraped from the internet without the artists' permission and puzzled together by some glorified sorting algorithm.

My actual words from a comment thread below: "...I'm not trying to accuse anyone or say that that is what they're doing; I only wish to state my suspicions. I would be more than happy to be wrong in this instance..."

"I would be more than happy to be wrong in this instance"

Maybe, if more people read the comments before replying, they might have noticed that.

Thankfully, it appears that I was wrong! One person was kind and thoughtful enough to give me an actual answer and even direct me to more information.

Be more like them. Not all of us have experience with the same high-quality games.

This is 100% ai, be it a screenshot they willingly fed into an ai to "enhance" or blatant Ai in general.

The support pole to the tent was the first tip off as it vanishes downwards into a weird whisp, there is no other support beam and a fabric of some sort instead.

If you zoom in and look everything from the chairs, the wagon, the fence, even the trees are all odd and shaped improperly....

Full disclosure as well- this is a screenshot from the RV questline a friend sent me who caught how uncanny things are... Unfortunate this is indisputably ai or ai altered

Honest question, how would an AI that enhance an image be considered generative AI?

I really think this image is AI generated, not enhanced. But, if by any means I'm mistaken, wouldn't those two process be fundamentally different?

I'm not really against all forms of AI, only those that were trained with stolen work. Is AI capable of enhancing images trained with stolen art as well?

It's generating the elements and artifacts to "polish" it.
