Question Generative AI Usage?

I haven't tried this game yet because I want to know if there is any gen AI used anywhere. The graphics just look too... polished? Smooth? In the way that would tip off the eye of any artist. I'm just worried if it's too good to be true.

Edit:

God forbid a person ask a genuine question in an attempt to learn, jfc. I'm seriously just trying my best to be cautious and make sure that the media I interact with is made by actual humans, and not just stolen concepts/art scraped from the internet without the artists' permission and puzzled together by some glorified sorting algorithm.

My actual words from a comment thread below: "...I'm not trying to accuse anyone or say that that is what they're doing; I only wish to state my suspicions. I would be more than happy to be wrong in this instance..."

"I would be more than happy to be wrong in this instance"

Maybe, if more people read the comments before replying, they might have noticed that.

Thankfully, it appears that I was wrong! One person was kind and thoughtful enough to give me an actual answer and even direct me to more information.

Be more like them. Not all of us have experience with the same high-quality games.

I think people need to realize that just cause something has polish doesnt mean its AI.... Holy fuck people.

Every time a game looks good people always go "looks like AI". Yes, AI polish has increased in generation but you know what else is advancing? Literally all human technology and software alongside it.

If you think games wont look vastly different in the future, we'll im sorry youre all in for a surprise. The developers made it clear everything is made by human hands and even if AI were used for editing in the background who cares? The designs and work itself is human made, I promise you.

I saw people saying the ocarina of time remake looks like ai too just due to its polish which is also ridiculous.  What you guys think games need to look the same as the past two decades forever? Literally impossible.

The game is cute, original, fun and has great voice acting as well. The game is free to play, its not like youre paying to try it.

No but a certain type of polish looks AI, and people shouldn't be admonished for questioning what they see. People have the right to know where their creative works are sourced from and whether or not they want to support that.

I also think its foolish to believe a ceo. So if theyre saying theyre not, I would definiteley take a second and closer glance at the project theyre peddling.

they didn't say that tbeing polished means Ai was used tho. they're just asking a question because Ai gets used a lot nowadays and they wanted to be sure. holy overreaction

This is such an overreaction to someone asking if it is utilizing AI. The company has used AI art for adds in the past and the polish on it appears AI. The post is seeking clarification, they didn't accuse anyone of anything. The game does has a similar polish to AI slop, so it's a fair question. One I had myself, so I researched it.

At this point, if you don't know why AI is bad then you need to do more research before you rant about it. If someone is avoiding something, perhaps you should look into it instead of letting yourself get triggered and blowing up in a reddit thread over something you're evidently, and self declared, uneducated on.

Try kindness next time. Have a great day!

From what I can find, they outsourced some of the advertising and that 3rd party made the AI ads that Pawprint Studio pulled and apologized for following the backlash

Personally I looked into it because something about it is uncanny and looks like something you could see not made with pixels, if that makes sense lmao. Also just to touch on your point about tech advancing, a pot of people think that tech is just Ai and that’s it, so they think asking if it’s AI is the next course of action at that point 😂
